Redamancy

Chapter 3

"Hmm.. which one should we watch?"
The three of us just stood there browsing the numerous movies, wondering which one to watch.

10 minutes and 2 arguments later we finally decided upon 'Kimi no na wa'.

The movie was great and I had a sobbing Yuki clinging onto me, going on about how good it was and how it touched her heart and everything.

"Do you want some food? Will that make you feel better?" I asked, trying to sympathize with her.

She nodded her head and lit up.

"Hey Nate what's her favourite?" I asked, not looking at him. When I didn't receive an answer I looked in his direction only to find he was staring at.. Phoenix?? I nugged his elbow and he looked down at me, rather dazed.

"Go talk to her!" I smiled, pretty excited myself.

"W-what?? No, I mean look at her she's.. she's beautiful and I don't know if she'd-"

"I said go talk to her not ask her to marry you! Aww you're so love struck. Wait I got an idea, come with me."

We set Yuki down on the bench while she sort out her emotions and I walked with Nate upto where she was. She came along with a couple of friends.. im assuming, that red haired was there too. She moved aside from the group and was stood near the ice cream stall.

We walked up to her and I ordered a chocolate ice cream and while she got hers I 'accidentally' bumped into her spilling the ice cream down.

"Omg I'm so sorry!" I bent down to help her up with the spilt ice cream and gestured to Nate to do the same. He fumbled and tried helping her.

We stood up and he started staring at her and then put out his hand towards her. "Hi, I'm Nate!"

She smiled back and introduced herself. They were busy in their own world so I took my leave, walking back to Yuki.

"Oh hey the matchmaker is back. Set me up with some cute guy too why don't you?"

I giggled and we watched Nate and Phoenix getting along well. "Since its just us two, let's go shop for some stuff! Oh but wait, food first." I was glad to see she got her spark back.

We headed over to Pizza Hut and feasted over one large pizza and sides, thereafter headed over to 'Secret Recipe to have their lovely desserts and shakes. Cheesecake and Salted Caramel latte. Heaven on earth basically.

We walked down the shops, shakes in hand, sipping on them. A cute blue tshirt caught Yuki's eye and we went into the shop to buy it and then she found something else and she was mentally debating which to choose.

We spent our time window shopping and eventually finding Nate and Phoenix. They still wanted to check something out so Yuki and I headed back to college.

We got into our room and immediately flopped down onto our beds, not realizing how tired we were until we did so.

I lazily checked my phone and kept all my things in place and didn't even bother changing. I laid down and never realised when I fell asleep.

The next day we had our first day of regular classes.

We headed for breakfast where a very excited Yuki ran and hugged Nate and demanded to know all about what happened between him and Phoenix. He promised to tell us after classes.

Our first class was English. It went by quick, filled with introductions and a few rules and basic information about our syllabus. I was seated towards the end near the window. Nate right in front of me and sadly Yuki right ahead.

English was followed by a rather interesting History class. Soon we were done with everything and were pretty excited about going to our clubs.

I was really excited to start practicing for the upcoming events and hoped to be a part of it. I trained very hard and did the best to get my timings right.

Since we didn't get to talk after school, three of us brought food and sat down on a lawn and had it while listening to Nate's 'date', as he would like to call it. Apparently the two had a magical time together, getting to know about each other. He thought they clicked and was fairly positive about a next date.

We said our good night's and returned to the dorm after a tiring day.

Math was our first class so the three of us headed over to where we had it. We spotted Phoenix and obviously, Nate ran to catch a seat next to her. I walked in and saw a familiar face.

Hey it's creepy pizza boy! He looked over to me and waved and gave a smile. That caught Yuki's attention.

"Omg who's that? Do you know him? What's his name?" She questioned me about it.

"I don't know his name and no I don't know him either."

"You're no fun!" She frowned and we took our places. Followed by a rather boring math class.

Little did I know it would soon be the start of something that would change the course of my life.
