I woke up and strained my eyes trying to identify my surrounding, my head still feeling a little heavy. I was in.. the clinic? Wait how did I get here? And how long was I out for? As if to answer all my questions a nurse entered the room I was in.

"Oh, you're awake. How do you feel?"

"I feel okay, except for this headache." I replied. "What happened and how did I get here?"

"You fainted right outside class and one of your classmates carried you here. You have severe dehydration and fatigue. Have you been eating and sleeping on time?"

'Well I've been doing quite the opposite'  is what I wanted to say, but just shook my head instead.

"Do you feel okay to get up? The doctor will prescribe some medicine for you."

I nodded and followed her out. She showed me into the doctor's office. I looked at the clock in his office. 4:35 p.m. Wow, I was out for a long time.

"Name and class please."

"Tiffany, first year A."

He gave me a prescription and advised me to eat well and get proper sleep and to come to the clinic if I ever felt sick again. I thanked him and left.

I walked out and was confused as to what to do next. I needed to see Yuki and thank Nate for carrying me to the clinic. Wait what about my physics project? I didn't realize I was aimlessly wandering around the halls until I bumped into someone.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I said without looking up at the person.

"No its fi- hey, it's you, how are you now?" I looked up.

"Creepy pizza boy!" I said out loud without thinking.

"That's who I am to you?" he chuckled.

"No, I mean I don't know your na- wait, how did you know I was ill?"

"Well I was the one who carried you to the clinic." Oh so it was him. "I'm Jake, by the way." he said with a smile and held out his hand.

"Tiffany." I smiled back. "And thank you, I feel much better now. Also, I think I has my physics assignment with me-"

"Don't worry about that I already submitted it."

"Bless you!"

He laughed. "Hey do you like to travel? There's this trip to Singapore and I have an extra form, my friend backed out at the last moment. So, if you wanna have it."

"Sure I'd love to!" he gave me the form and we sat and filled it before submitting it.

We walked out heading towards our dorms. "So what were you doing in the girls dorm the first day?" I smirked.

He felt embarrassed and looked the other way. I laughed and he chuckled too. "Let's just say I was.. exploring."

"Jake!" his friend called out. He ran up to him, I followed walking.

"Tiffany, this is my best friend who backed out on me at the last moment, Nick. Nick, this is Tiffany."

"That's a really nice introduction." he responded sarcastically.

"Nice to meet you Nick."

"You too." Nick added.

"We better go we got a match to watch. See ya tomorrow!" Jake said and waved"

"Bye!" I waved to both of them. I walked toward my dorm and was met by Yuki's arms.

"Thank God you're okay!! I was so worried about you!"

"Hey what's the worst that could happen?" I said and gave her a hug.

We walked back to the dorm. From that day onward she took to seeing about my health and made sure I ate every meal complete with 8 glasses of water daily and a good night's rest.

The next day I told the both of them what happened. "Talk about being impulsive damn!" Yuki added.

"Not impulsive I really do love travelling!"

The week passed by with regular classes. I had an event coming up and was chosen for a relay and two other track events - hurdles and 200 m flats. We trained for the events and felt confident with our relay team.

The three of us often hung out at the cafe which we took a liking to. Nate was doing pretty well with Phoenix and was positive that she had feelings for him, as he stated.

After few days the students who applied to go to Singapore were called into a classroom where we were explained how everything worked and how we would be divided into groups so it would be easier to administer. Jake and I were in the same group with a few others. We got an itinerary and a list of things we needed to pack for our trip. We were set to leave in two weeks and were pretty thrilled for the experience.
