The two weeks past by quickly. We had a friendly competition with the track team of another college, we won the relay and I came second for the 200 m race and third for hurdles. I made up my mind to work harder. We also had a few tests during the two weeks. I had to help Yuki out with all of them.

"I'm going to miss you!" Yuki said while she gave me a hug.

"It's only for two weeks, plus I'll get you something from there." I assured her. She instantly lit up. "Bye, see you guys!"

"Bye Tiff, take care." Nate said and gave me a hug.

I walked up to the front of the school where we had to assemble with my luggage lagging behind me. I walked up to my squad and spotted Jake there. We stood and talked about how excited we were and decided to have a great time.

There was a bus to take us to the airport. Jake and I sat together since we didn't really know anyone else. The ride to the airport was short and we were soon atthe airport waiting to board our plane. We thought of taking a look around theairport. I spotted a souvenir shop and ran right into it. I'm pretty found of collecting small mementos from the places I visit. I looked over to see Jake observing something he just found. I picked up a miniature Petronas Twin Tower souvenir, and I was very content with it. Jake walked over to me and I let him look at it.

We headed back to the group after picking up a milkshake. I clicked a few pictures and looked at them to see if I had good ones.

Soon, it was time to board the plane. We traveled with our respective squads so as to eliminate the problem of any commotion. I was taken aback by so much happening around me that Jake had to run after me like I was a kid because I kept getting lost. I felt a little embarrassed but forgot it as soon as we saw our plane. I got into it and searched for our seats and waved out to him with excitement. He chuckled at my child-like behavior. I got comfortable in my seat and observed the other people.

Jake kept looking back for some reason. "Something wrong?" I questioned.

"Oh, no, nothing, absolutely nothing." yeah like I believed him, but I didn't want to prey so I let it be.

Our plane took off and there were a few announcements made. I waited for them to finish so I could start watching something. Just before I could do that Jake tapped on my shoulder. "Hey um.. you don't happen to know anyone called um.. Mika?

"Hmm.. that name does sound fami- wait Mika? The one who's in our squad??"

"Yes her but do you know her personally?" he asked.

"No, I don't know anyone but you here. Why?"

He brooded over whether he should tell me or not. He finally made up his mind. "Okay but this stays just between the two of us, got it?"

"Ooo I like secrets. Alright it'll be just between us. I said.

"I kinda have a little crush on her." he said that and blushed a little looking away. I couldn't help but 'aww' at this, and was pretty interested to hear about her.

"So tell me, how did you start liking her?" my tone rather excited.

He told me how he met her during admissions and she was so kind to help him figure out his way and everything. Then he met her on the first day of college and was thrilled to find out he had a few classes with her. He went on about how cute she is, he seemed rather.. cute? talking about her.

The journey was only a 55 minute ride. We spent the whole time talking about Mika, but it was pretty fun. We landed safely and after we procured our luggage, we got in bus to reach our hotel.

We reached at around 7:45 p.m and called it a day. We were pretty tired so we headed to our rooms. I was a room with 2 other girls. We explored every corner of the room and had a splendid view of the city. I stared in awe at the sight. I quickly pulled out my camera and captured the beautiful scene. The lights lit up the whole city and looked majestic. I had a shower and we headed down for dinner. There was an array of delicious food and I never hesitated to taste each one of them and filled my plate.

While we were still seated in the dining area, one of our teacher told us to report for breakfast at 9 a.m and after that we were going to head out to the National Museum of Singapore.

I was tired so I decided to head to my room and get some rest.

The next morning I got dressed quickly and went to eat some breakfast, meeting Jake on the way. We sat and ate together, and soon we were headed out to the Museum. There was a bus going there. I sat at the window too excited looking out at the huge buildings and cars passing by. I took a few pictures, content with what I got. I marveled at the sights of the various places we passed.

The day was passing by quickly, we visited the museum which took a while since we were observing each and everything; followed by lunch at a restaurant not far from the museum. We were allowed to look around that place and had to report back at 5 p.m. I took the advantage to explore each and every corner of the street, clicking pictures for memories.

With that we had to call it a day since we were headed to Universal Studios the next day and we had to leave early since it was quite a drive till there. Everyone was looking forward to this because it was the highlight of our trip. The way back was silent, Jake fell asleep on my shoulder and I put on my earphones listening to music.

We reached the hotel and got ready for the next day. The three of us in the room were talking about what we would do tomorrow and then decided to hit the hay.
