Lost and in love

Chapter 2: Starting class making new friends and shedding tears ):

'Wow the schools really big where should i go?' im asking myself. Oh i just remembered the principal told me to come to his office before the bell rings for roll call.

I go to the office and see the secretary. "Hey do you know where the Principals office is?" With a small smile she says "to your left". I'm knocking on the door. "Come in"!!! someone says and I slowly walk in feeling nervous.

"Sit down" his saying and I slide into the seat opposite him, "hey Kate Rithmore you must be the new student" he says holding his hand out with a small smile. I'm slowly lifting my hand up and I take his hand in mine and shake it briefly before I decide to let it go.

"Here's your schedule for your classes your first class is in the green block, room number 3 and I'm sure you'll fit right in". I don't know what to say so I decide to say to say a simple thank you and walk out.

I'm walking down the corridor and everyone's heads instantly turn my way and they start whispering about me as i line up outside my roll call room as the bell rings. I see everyone rushing to get to their classes. I feel really nervous at the moment because there are students coming towards me now.

They stare at me weirdly except for four girls at the back. The teachers here now "Goodmorning 10c" she's saying and she's opening the door. We go inside and the teacher calling me to go to the front.

"Everyone this is Kate Rithmore and i'm sure you's will all do your best to make her feel welcome". Most of the class snickers and glares at me You can go sit down" she says gesturing to a seat at the back.

I am walking to the back and i pull the chair out and sit down. The girls next to me are very nice and polite and we become friends quickly. Their names are Claire, Heidi, Ella and Ellie.

After roll call i head over to my first class which is maths. Why is everyone staring at me and they have their lips curled into a snarl.

"Hey your fat"! someone is saying, why is he saying that i'm not even fat and i go to sit in an empty seat. "Oh no!" i shriek as i fall to the ground. Everyones laughing now as tears start to sting my eyes. But i refuse to let them fall because that will show them how hurt i am.

The teacher Mr Smith is walking in and he sees me one the ground. "He's hurrying over and i can see concern in his eyes"."Are you okay"? "I just feel really sick and my legs hurt". "Okay" and he goes to write me a note to take to a nurse. She calls my mum and she comes hurrying in. Mum helps me to the front door and than to the car.

"Are you okay"? she's asking and by now the tears are falling and i don't know what to say. She leans over and gives me a tight hug and i hesitate before i hug her back.

We're driving home in silence when we get home. Mum gets out of the car helps me up to my room. "I'm not going to school tomorrow" she's concerned for a minute but she says "okay you can stay home".

Once she's out of the room im thinking to myself about what happened today. I don't get it why their doing this to me, i don't deserve it because i've never hurt anyone. I've always been the type of girl to look on the bright side, today im feeling like there is no bright side. I'm slowly being dragged down below with no hope of ever getting back up again.
