{ Three week time skip }

Today was the day that Lucas is getting his cast taken off. Both Margaret and Gemma were waiting in the cafeteria to say there goodbyes. The two girls had gotten quiet close to Lucas over the past three weeks they've been there, Gemma and Lucas getting a little closer then normal. Margaret caught them kissing in front of Lucas' room. Margaret hasn't told them that she knows about them or the fact that Margaret's been secretly reading Gemma's mind to catch up on the details.

"Oh look here he comes." Gemma says waving him over with a smile. Lucas walks over to the girls, his arm cast free and envelopes Gemma into a hug. Margaret's head injury was healed fully so her bandages were all gone as well as the stitches. Lucas then hugs Margaret but not as close as he held Gemma. Margaret has been sensing something a bit off about Lucas since the last time they met in the cafeteria, like he has something bad planned. Margaret kept it to herself thinking it was nothing, Lucas is one of the few people that Gemma has warmed up to and has been able too trust. She didn't want to ruin that.

"Hey pretty ladies how have you two been?" Lucas asks, Gemma blushes at the compliment smiling non the less.

"We're fine. How are you?" Gemma asks him. Lucas gives them two thumbs ups.

"Peachy. Now listen, you know how I'm leaving today? Well I still wanna keep it touch with you two." He says then takes out a piece of paper that has something written down on it.

"Take this, It's my number. Text or call anytime." Lucas smiles handing the paper to Gemma.

"Wait you're leaving right now?" Gemma asks. Margaret stands there awaiting a verbal answer from Lucas but she already knows the answer is yes. Lucas nods.

"My parents will be here any minute. I'll see you again I promise." Lucas smiles but then they all hear someone calling his name, two adults who look similar to Lucas walk over.

"Hey buddy are you ready to go?" The man asks. He must be the father. (Obviously)

"Yeah dad, let me just say bye to my friends." Lucas mumbled to him. Margaret makes eye contact with Lucas' dad and tries to see inside his head. Margaret finds out that he used to have a drinking problem and is currently working on it, he's the coach for Lucas' football team, and he's secretly having an affair with his wife. The man winks at Margaret and she scoffs turning away from him and towards the woman. She must be the mom. (Obviously) She has a gambling problem and goes out with her friends every Saturday night. She's very beautiful so it makes no sense that her husband is cheating on her.

Margaret was taken out of her thoughts when Gemma snapped her fingers in front of her face.

"Huh what? Sorry I was zoned out..." Margaret scratches the back of her neck shifting in her wheel chair. Yes her leg is still healing.

"Lucas is about to leave, say bye." Gemma whispers to her. Margaret looks at Lucas and gives him a smile.

"See ya Lucas." Margaret waves. The rest of Lucas' family wave to the girls and they walk out of the cafeteria and down the halls out of the hospital.

"Now what?" Margaret asks still looking at the doorway. Gemma glances at Margaret and sighs.

"Now we wait till you're all healed and then it'll be our turn to get out of here." Gemma says. Margaret looks at her friend and can tell she's tired of being in this boring hospital, even the orphanage was more fun to be in then this place.

"Hopefully only a couple more weeks." Margaret mumbles. Gemma nods and starts to wheel them back to there shared room. When the girls get there a familiar looking nurse is sitting at the edge of Margaret's bed.
