~Chapter 24~

Lexi's P.O.V

I ended up going back to the hospital because the blonde made me tear my stitches after they restitched me I was allowed to go back but with a new set of rules instead of drawing attention by an ambulance Dani drove me she's been quiet for awhile now when I look at her she hesitantly looks at me "I'm sorry I told him it wasn't my place" I shake my head "it's fine don't worry about it" she smiles some and looks back at the road the hospital isn't too far from the college and within a few minutes we're back at school I sigh and just look at the brick building "drama here we come" I mumble Dani gives a humorless laugh and gets out "Come on Lex you can handle it" I mumble something under my breath and slowly get out "easy for you to say" I grumble she laughs and locks her car after we close the door we start walking back to the building.

When we walk into my dorm Asher is pacing the floor when he hears our foot steps he turns to us and quickly walks over pulling me into a gentle yet tight hug this takes me by surprise and I look at Dani who looks just as surprised I blink a couple times then push him away roughly "get off of me" I hiss

Asher looks at me with wide eyes I just roll mine and walk passed him to go sit on the couch Dani smirks then brushes by him and sits next to me "I have too much to deal with and no time for you and your confusing ways" I sigh I glance over at him and his face is blank his hands in his pockets "sorry I-" I cut him off and stand up "don't even freaking go there you said that the kiss meant nothing. You said that we should forget about it! You said that so don't you dare apologize to me for one of your side hoes hurting me cause you know what? I didn't feel a freaking thing because I was already broken and in pain because of you!" by this point I'm a couple inches away from him poking his chest tears running down my cheeks he looks away from me and sighs Dani looks over at us and glares at Asher "Lexi calm down before you hurt yourself mo-" I snap my head in her direction silencing her with a glare she sighs and closes her mouth I roughly wipe my tears away and walk away from him going towards the kitchen.

I glance behind me to see him silently following me I ignore him and start to gather ingredients to make dinner I can hear him gathering pans and setting them down on the counter the noise behind me stops when I turn around he's watching me with his arms crossed he looks like he wants to say something so I turn to fully face him and lean against the counter.

He shifts some then sighs "okay I know I have no right to say this but I'm going to anyway...I'm scared okay I'm scared to be with someone again you scare me because you make me feel something, something I haven't felt in a very long time the truth is I have feelings for you Alexis Snalley and no matter how hard I try to push them away or how hard I try to push you away I just can't stop coming back to you everything about you draws me in and I can't stay away..."
