Lexi's P.O.V
he takes a deep shakey breath and watches me his eyes pleading me not go reject him I just stand there eyes wide mouth agape by the time he finished Dani had made her way to the kitchen her eyes also wide this is the first time I've ever seen her completely speechless I open and close my mouth trying to think of something to say.
I'm speechless the boy who has been messing with me from the very first day he met me, the boy who has caused me so much trouble had just told me he has feelings for me I'm not sure what to say he shifts uncomfortably his eyes holding fear of rejection I have to tell him something...I have to tell him how I feel but I can't find the right words to say
What am I supposed to say exactly hey guess what I like you too? I want to tell him I really do but at the time I'm fearful that's it's just another game to him "please say something..." his voice is quiet almost a whisper I sigh softly "please don't play games with me I can't do this anymore...they're getting out of control" I look down he takes a step closer to me placing his fingers under my chin and lifting my head up so I'll look at him
I bite my lip waiting for him to say something his eyes zone in on my lips before finding their way back to my eyes "it's not a game I'm done playing games I just want you no one else only you Lexi" his words make my heart flutter and I can't help but smile "okay, Asher Tompson you'll be pleased to hear that I have feelings for you" his eyes light up with excitement a cute grin spreading acrossed his face "really??" I can't help but smile more and nod "yes" he pulls me into a tight yet gentle hug as to not hurt my injury I laugh and return the hug just as tight
Someone clearing their throat snaps us out of it and we pull away when we look over Dani stands there with a wide smile and joy in her eyes "it about damn time!" She cheers causing us to laugh she winks at me and laughs the rest of the night is spent making dinner watching movies and the three of us just enjoying one another's company as we eat
