~Chapter 21~

Lexis P.O.V

I look up at the sound of the machine her heart beat is getting stronger... I can't believe this I reach over and poke Ashton he looks up his eye widen when they land on the machine I feel Asher's hand tense on my back I look back at him he's looking at the machine just like the rest of us I look down at Lila her eyes are still closed but for now I think she's stable she's fighting for her life that's my girl a small smile forms on my face I look over at Ashton he's smiling like a fool "you better not have a crush on my 4 year old daughter boy" He looks at me then frowns "what ew no that's weird I don't have a crush on her she's a little girl and your daughter that would just be really weird okay" he shivers In disgust at having a crush on a little girl I laugh a little then look back down at Lila "she's a little princess Lexi she's just like you when we were little she can make anyone smile hell she made me feel emotions again not just anger, hate and stuff like that but she made me feel happy, guilty, and even kinda sad but most of all she made me feel loved I don't know what it is about this little girl I kidnaped her for crying out loud yet she showed me the same love and happiness like everyone else" I smile "that's good Ashton hang around for awhile you never know maybe you guys will be best friends one day"

He smiles "thanks Lex that would be awesome" Asher has been quiet this whole time which kinda makes me feel uneasy. He hasn't taken his eyes off of the machine this whole time I think he's afraid that the machine will stop any moment know but I know it won't Lila's fighting for her life just like the tough little girl she is

~Two months later~

Asher's P.O.V

Today is the day Lexi and Lila get to come home in the process the girls both had a birthday Lila is now 5 and Lexi is now 20 Ashton and I are going to be turning 21 soon during this time Ashton and I have had time to repair our friendship when I pull up to the hospital I see Ashton is already there he's holding a smiling Lila I can tell she's ready to go back home I get out to help Lexi I stand in front of her "want me to take those?" I point at the many bags she's holding she smiles and nods I take the bags and pop the trunk placing the bags inside everyone gets in I'm driving of course Ashton and Lila in the back and Lexi in the front she looks over at me when I start to drive I look at her for a moment before returning my attention to the road when I pull up to a stop light and look back at her she turns away quickly I smirk "just because you look away doesn't mean I didn't catch you" she blushes and turns to face the window I hear Ashton and Lila both start laughing from the back I begin driving again not to long after I pull into Xavier and Aaron's drive way they come out well Aaron walks out Xavier runs out
