18 (An Andy Biersack fanfic) *ON HIATUS*

Chapter Fifteen

Drex's body began to flicker as if the scene was being watched through an old television screen. As Drex's body flickered, it shrank too. The body that used to be a dragon now took on a human form. After the transformation was over, Drex stood there in all their glory, and quite literally too as they did not magically get clothes either.

"Woah," Madeline said in amazement.

Andy looked bewildered. The dragon became a human. Even though Andy has been dealing with C.O.s his whole life, he never saw something quite like this. Everyday Madeline's powers amazed him. He knew when he saw her in the woods that very first night that she was different. He could sense a strong aura to her. He never would've thought she could create a shape shifting life form from her powers, though.

Drex smiled. They had taken on a tall, skinny, human body. Their hair was pitch black like their scales were, and their eyes a dark blue color, contrast to their red eyes from before. Their skin was even paler than what would've been expected, and they had dark, thick eyebrows: thicker than Andy's. Even though they were naked, they didn't have any sex features at all, like a doll.

Drex was maybe a little bit shorter tan Andy, and they looked a little bit like Andy as well, which didn't sit with Andy very well.

"Did you do that on purpose?" Andy asked, somewhat annoyed.

"Do what?" Drex finally spoke out loud and not within their minds.

"Make yourself look..." Andy shook his head. "Nevermind."

Drex looked confused but shrugged it off turning to Madeline.

"Do you like the change?"

Madeline nodded, squealing.

"You can fit inside the institute now!" She jumped up and down excitedly. "Andy! Can they share our room??"

"NO." Andy was quick to answer. He didn't want the dragon to be around them. That was their room. Madeline and his. Not Madeline, Drex, and him.

"But-"

"No. I'm sorry Madeline. They'll have to act like any other resident at the institute. They'll get their own room." Andy stood up straight, looking at Drex then Madeline. "I guess it's time to show you to your room... And get you some clothes."

With that, Andy turned on his heel and walked back into the doors of the building followed by Madeline who huffed a bit and a confused Drex.

As they all walked up the large staircase to the winding hallways, a few people who were out of their rooms gawked at Drex. Of course, no one has ever seen anyone like them, but Drex didn't seem to notice. They just continued to follow after their creator and her friend.

As they rounded a corner they came upon a room that was Madeline's old room.

"Here," Andy said to Drex, motioning with his hand in the doorway. "You can change it up however you would like to make it feel more homely to you."

Drex nodded their head and went to sit on the bed. They bounced a bit on it then looked up at the two, almost as if they were waiting.

"Okay... I'm going to go grab you some clothes. I'll be right back." Andy shot Drex a warning look. "Don't do anything while I'm gone." Andy walked out of the room, closing it so people that walked by wouldn't go in.
