83-year old Mrs A came for a second opinion on her blood test results.
"My doctor told me that my kidneys function is appropriate for my age," she said.
She paused and looked into my eyes.
"And?" I asked.
She continued with an upset tone, "The doctor meant my kidneys are as old as I'm ?"
I read the blood test results and replied with a smile, "The doctor actually meant this is your new normal kidneys function."
" Hmm, that sound much better," she responded with a smile.
