83岁的史密先生来看病。他的太太上两个月去世了。但是，他坚持自己住在老家。
他说："今天，我想洗个床单；但是，洗衣机有好多个按钮！平常洗衣的，我会；洗床单的，我不会。太太在世时，不让我做的。"
我说："打电话问女儿。"
他说："先想想办法。我忽然发现，放衣夹子的盒子下有一张纸条。"
他把纸条递给我看。上面写着："洗床单，按Duvet这按钮就行了，亲爱的。"（"Select Duvet to wash blanket, love yyy") 她的太太亲笔写的。
他说："我又和不在人间的太太沟通了。"
我无语回答。两双带有雪丝的眼睛对望了一阵子。。。。。

83-year old Mr S lives alone after his wife passed away two months ago.
Mr S said, " I wish to wash my blanket, but I'm not sure how to use the washing machine to wash it. My wife did all washing."
I suggested, " Call your daughter for help."
Mr S replied, "Hang on. I found this little note somewhere in the laundry room."
He showed me the note: "Select Duvet to wash blanket, love yyy".
The note was written by his wife.
"I am still communicating with my deceased wife," he said.
I was speechless. Two pairs of tear-filled eyes met ....
