Lask week, Mrs. A came for a health checkup.
I asked her, "Is your daughter coming with you?"
She replied, "My daughter will be here soon. She is buying something."
I said, "Today you'll have a full checkup including your memory."
She replied cheerfully, "No worries. I've good memory. I can remember things occurred 50 years ago when my daughter was a baby. One night, her nappy ran out, she couldn't sleep well. My husband drove to a shop. In a hurry, his car nearly hit someone!"
"Oh, " I responded.
Knock, knock.
"Come in," I answered the door.
Her daughter came in with a big plastic bag in her hand.
She told her mom, "I bought this good quality stuff for you."
Mrs A replied, "They're disposable, no need good quality, a waste of money."
They looked at each other. I saw a bagful of adult nappy. The atmosphere was filled with love, not embarrassment.
