Trigger Warnings: For once, none.

Keith woke up.

He was lying on a pure white cot in a pure white room. He stood up, still very confused. Not to mention, his Lion bond seemed to have... disappeared. He pushed the door open and found the Garrison, except it wasn't the Garrison.

This version of the Garrison was white and there wasn't anyone else in the building at all. He sat on a bench then Hunk fell on top of him. "Keith?" The yellow paladin asked. "Where are we?" The red paladin shrugged,

"No idea. It's... Peaceful." Hunk nodded, then flashes of blue and black light announced the arrival of the missing two team members.

"What the... It looks like the Garrison." They sat around each other om the grassy floor.

Keith was still sad. His lover died right before his eyes.

Katie was still sad. Her brother wasn't her brother anymore.

Jason was still sad. Before they went to fight, he tried to call his family only to find out they all died in a train crash.

Shiro was confused. He didn't have the cyborg arm anymore.

After a half hour had passed a TV screen rose from the ground. Someone pressed the power button and it showed the universe celebrating the end of Zarkon. The scene changed to Allura and Coran standing in front of six graves. Each grave was color corrinated to which pilot was buried there. "There were brave Coran." Allura said unmoving. He nodded,

"Yes they were. Now that Zarkon is gone the universe is forever going to be thankful towards them." Allura sniffled,

"I wonder where the Lions are..."

The TV sank back into the ground. "So..." Katie asked, "are we dead?" A purple light appeared and Lance showed up.

"Welcome to the Afterlife." Another light shone brightly then revealed Matt. Only this Matt wasn't evil, in fact, there was no evidence left on his body that he in fact was evil.

"Matt!" The man jumped in surprise when his little sister gave him a hug.

"Hey squirt." He said ruffling her hair. "I missed you." She nodded,

"I missed you too."

Meanwhile Keith and Lance were staring at each other. "You have a head..." Lance laughed,

"You always were observant Mullet." They sat together in the grass.

Jason watched as his teammates were reunited with the ones he lost. "You know Jase, I always said brooding was bad for you." He turned around and whispered,

"Mom." They hugged then two little children appeared and tackled the blue hero.

"My little boy. You were always so brave." Jason cried in his mother's arms.

"I wanted to tell him. Who I am I mean." She nodded understanding,

"I know my love. However, Lance can never know you were his brother."

Lance looked around. His family, Voltron, was finally reunited. Granted, it took him dying twice(the first being when he was captured, the second when his head got cut off). Lance sat on the grass underneath a tree and stared at the Garrison-like building with his boyfriend by his side. He thought about how he, along with Matt, were both reborn into something else, a monster. The he thought of his family saving him from the abyss of darkness.

The Purple Paladin watched his family grow closer together then realized Earth wasn't his home. As much as he thought of the blue and green planet it wasn't his home. The people were. His mom, his brother, even Keith, Pidge, Shiro, and Hunk were his home. Which meant he finally did it. His promise he made his mother that night was fulfilled.

He made it home.
