During the summer vacation, my mom said to me "go to college, meet new friends, study hard and don't forget to pray".
Vacation pa lang ay excited na akong pumasok sa kolehiyo since it was my dream to be a part of a state university. I am studying in MSU-IIT, one of the finest universities not only in Mindanao but also in the Philippines. And I am proud to be a student of this school, much more proud to be accepted and enrolled in BS ACCOUNTANCY.
At dahil first day nga ng school, I intended to be early as possible because I wanted to have chitchats and make new friends before we enter the classroom. First subject ko for today is Sociology1. 20 minutes before the time ay nandoon na ako sa labas ng room at nag-aantay na ng mga prospect classmates ko.
Then one arrives, I approached her and said, "dito ka rin sa room na ito?" , "yes" she replied.
"wow! classmate pala tayo! by the way, I'm Vanneza Mae" pagpapakilala ko sa kanya.
"I'm Jude Shahara. Nice meeting you! :))"
Si Jude ang first friend ko at naging close kami kaagad.. Yung feeling na parang matagal na kayong magkakilala. We have some similarities and first to mention ay pareha kami ng score sa SASE (entrance exam sa MSU-IIT).
Di nagtagal ay nagsilabasan na ang mga estudyante na gumamit sa room namin. Pumasok na kami ni Jude at nagpatuloy sa pagpapakilala. Dumating na rin yung professor namin and he started the class with introductions. Nagpakilala na kami isa-isa.
"Hello everyone, I'm Mary Grace Odi. I came from GenSan. Nice to meet you all!" sya yung nasa left side ni Jude at ako naman ang nasa right side. Nasa front ko si Jenica Pabayo, at sa side naman niya si Rose Ann.. Because of that sitting arrangement, we became friends. Si Jenica, sobra kung makapagpatawa, si Grace naman, humihirit din paminsan-minsan. Slowly, we began to share our life and love stories.
We also learned the names of our other classmates and we also made friends with them, but not exactly as how we treat each other.
Lagi kaming magkasama, kung di man magkatabi sa klase, we make sure na mag-aantayan kami after the class and hang-out with each other. I feel so happy being with them.
