The sun that peaked through the blinds and curtains hit Roma's face, waking her from her deep slumber slowly. She blinked repeatedly as she tried to gather her surrounds. She turned around, arm reaching out to Paul only to be met with a cold blanket and the crinkling of paper.

She opened one eye fulling, lifting the note to her face, lazily reading over the slightly sloppy handwriting.

Good morning my angel,
Pack and I went to go grab Jacob, I'll be pack as soon as I can.
Emily is waiting for you at her place like always - she has breakfast.
I love you,
Paul

Without realizing it, the girl's face broke into a small smile at the words on the paper. She decided though that she wouldn't be able to fall asleep again. She sat up stretching with a groan before standing to her feet and padding through the room getting ready for the day, leaving the bed unmade.

Her outfit was simple, blue jeans with a solid gray t-shirt. She tugged her large flannel overtop of it to keep her warm from the Fork's cold weather. She took the stairs to their main level, slipping on her black tie up boots and heading out the door making the short walk to the Uley home.

"Good morning Emily." She called as she entered the door, not bothering to knock as the overwhelming smells of baked goods hit her nose, "It smells good in here as always."

"G'morning to you too Roma." Emily called, not stopping her mixing as Roma came to sit in one of the mix match chairs that faced her, "You're smelling homemade muffins."

"Oh yum." The girl hummed happily, "How's it been going over here?"

"Great, Sam and I are coming along on our wedding plans." Emily said smiling wider when she said Sam's name. Roma couldn't help her smile either as she felt the overwhelming joy within the scarred girl.

"Really? Did you guys pick a flower?" Roma perked excitedly. The two always enjoyed their alone conversations. As much as they both loved their imprints and the growing pack, it was always nice to just talk alone without the enjoyable chaos and uproar the boys could cause.

"Yeah, we did. Peruvian Lilies" She said as she pulled the muffin tin in the oven. Roma almost began to drool at the scent, she tucked one leg underneath the other, the one swinging back and forth.

"Sam knows what those are?" Roma teased, giggling a little as Emily set up a plate full of muffins.

"Probably just going with it, honestly." Emily laughed back as she set the plate on the table, "You might want to eat one before the pack gets back, you of all people know how they are."

"How long have they been gone?" Roma asked, picking up a muffin and began picking at it, enjoying its warmth and flavor.

"Umm" Emily looked at the clock as she returned to the kitchen to fill another muffin tin, "About an hour and half now, where could they be?"

"Jacob doesn't live that far, does he?" The black haired girl shook her head no. Roma went quiet, looking off to focus in on hearing one or several of the boys' voices in her head and she did.

Sam. He could've gotten us hunted by telling that little Leech-lov-

Watch what you say about her.

It doesn't matter, You didn't imprint on her!

After several minutes of silence, Sam was most likely talking (more like scolding) to the two wolves then Paul's sarcastic laugh broke out

I ain't gonna apologize but I will admit you can phase on the spot and I'm impressed

I'm not gonna apologize either but you can put up a good fight.
