THE OTHER SIDE

I sat in front of the mirror looking at myself. I hate this black dress. I hate this coat. I hate this necklace so much. The dress reminds me of Sam's funeral.

"Here you go love" Jake gave me a peck on my forehead placing the cookies on the table. "Who is this Walker guy anyway.?" He jumped and rested his body on my bed. "He is the only doctor who accept to treat Sam" I said.

"Anyway what are you wearing?" I said trying to change the topic. He gave me a serious look. Fuck he noticed what I was doing but then just change to topic.

After some minutes I went downstairs while Jake was doing something on his phone. I passed by the kitchen to see mom sitting in her black dress.
She was silent and so sad. "Are you ok?" I walked towards her. "Yes you don't have to worry about me" she snapped out of her thought. "Ok"

We all got in the car.

All those people were present at the funeral. I quickly stepped forward for the goodbye speech. "Good evening... Thank you for being here I'm sure Mr Walker would have appreciate it if he was alive with us today. Mr Walker. I met him when I was 13 at the hospital. At that time I used to go visit my Grandmother and I never talked to him. But then 4 years ago I finally spoke to him. I shared lots of words with him. Mr Walker was and will always be in our hearts. He saved many lives. And he will always be....." I said sadly looking at the people when all of a sudden I saw....her.

I kept on standing still not knowing what to do. She is so beautiful. Oh my god I really missed her. I felt this thing inside like everything is going to be ok. "Cameron dude finish the fucking line" Nash tapped me from behind as I snapped out of it.

"Uhh yeah sorry....Mr Walker will always remain in our heart." I finished and stepped back.

As the ceremony continued I walked outside the church quickly. Nash shouted at me as he ran after me with all the bodyguards. "Cameron stop!"

" we didn't know The Steel would be coming at the funeral"

"Excuse me?.....you knew she was in town....and you didn't tell me?"

What the fuck is going on? "And Why does it matter so much" He snapped waiting for an answer. I turned around with my hands on my head. He should have told me. I get it I'm a bad person but I'm their friend and we are talking about the Steel Family here. "This town is mine and as far as it concerns the Steel Family it is my fucking business." I turned removing my gun from my side pocket pointing it at Nash.

"You and I both know how this matters to me and don't you ever fucking try to hide anything like that Nash" I shouted loudly when I noticed Mia running out with I presume is his boyfriend. She was so scared to see us with guns.

I stepped away lowered the gun and got in the car. She doesn't deserve to see her bestfriends fighting like that.

What the fuck just happened? We all entered the church to see everyone smiling at us. I clearly don't remember anyone when I saw him. Cameron Dallas. He was delivering the speech. God he is still gorgeous and brave. I missed him. I sat next to Jake not removing my eyes on him when he suddenly notices me.

He stopped and stood still looking at me. Nash tapped him. Why did he stopped? Just after the speech he quickly ran outside and all his bodyguards and Nash ran along.

"Hey can we leave this place is so sad." Jake said as we walked outside. He grabbed my hand giving me a light smile while all I could think was Cameron. This is so cruel. Once outside I was shocked. Why the fuck did Cameron point a gun at Nash. I wish I could come minutes earlier I would have listened more.

Jake tried to go and help out but I pulled him back. I didn't want him to get involved with my past. This right now is better.

After hours of roaming around the town with Jake in the car, we arrived at the bar where the ceremony were being held for Dr Walker. My parents went home because mom was tired.

"Dude this town is awesome" Jake walked to the bar ordering some drinks. "Yeah it hasn't changed at all" A familiar voice came from behind as we both turned to see Nash approaching us. "Hi im Nash" He smiled at Jake while giving me a smirk. Why is he talking to us?

"Hello I'm Jake and this is..."

"Mia yeah who doesn't know her" both Jake and I were confused mostly Jake I could tell by his face. "Ugh Nash and I used to be bestfriend" I smiled.

"Where are your parents I would like to meet them?"

Please don't ask about Sam. Please don't talked about him..... "And I don't see Sam anywhere?" Nash waited for an answer. "Uhh yeah actually my mother is feeling a bit off lately and they went home and now that you've been asking about them I think Jake and I should get back home also." I said avoiding any eye contact.

I grabbed Jake's hand and walked outside when..."Wait i thought you would like to meet Cameron?" He stopped us. Fucking shit. Jake gave me a confused look. "We'll meet him later"

"Well we are having a party tomorrow at our house and the Walker family will spread the Ashes in the lake behind the house. You people are most invited. At the same time we'll catch up" Nash invited us. "Yeah we would love to I mean I don't really know everyone here and it would be great to meet some of Mia's friends." Jake smiled while shaking hands with Nash.
