JUST GIVE ME A REASON

Mr and Mrs Steel
"May stop don't run from this" I followed her to the room. "What now William! You gonna blame me too?" She stopped and faced me. "She didn't mean it ok she is hurt just like you " I said when she turned and looked at me crying.

"I lost my son and my daughter hates me so much Will. what is happening in this house" she waved her hands angrily as she cried.

"You know what I'm done" I snapped as she looked at me. How can she be so careless and selfish.

"Sam is dead May and we cannot do anything. It was everyone's fault. We all messed up ok but we cannot let our guilt destroy this family." I said with a cracked voice.

"May we have lost a Child already but we still got Mia and we cannot give up on her. She needs us" I said.

"No Will she needs you I'm not the one for her."

"What? do you ever understand what is happening around us.?" I asked angrily. "Stop making everything about you May stop blaming everyone just for the sake that you weren't to be blame."

"It's going to be ok Will please calm down its going to be ok" May said crying. I know she was changing the topic. She always do that. But not anymore.

"WHAT? IT'S GONNA BE OK?"

"I don't know what to say" she cried trying to grab my hand but I was so angry that I push her hand.

"SAY IT'S OUR FAULT! SAY WE FUCKING FAILED HIM! YOU AND ME!
YOU KNEW HE HAD PROBLEMS. HE WAS CRYING HIMSELF TO SLEEP EVERY NIGHT. HE WAS UPSET. WHY DIDN'T YOU DO SOMETHING? YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING!
YOU DID NOTHING MAY NOTHING! " I yelled at her.

She stepped back out of fear and shock. When I realised what I just said I quickly went near her. "Oh my god I'm so sorry May" I said as I put my hands on her shoulder.
"You should have told me this before Will" she cried. "I'm so sorry" I said as I let my body fall down. I kneed down in front of her. May stood still.

"I couldn't tell you... I couldn't I'm sorry." I cried uncontrollably when I felt her weak body hugged me.

Mia
I stopped my car on a bridge and quickly got out. This is so messed up. I needed some air and I needed to cry.

"Mia" I heard Cameron from behind. "Please go away" I said with a cracked voice.
"Hey its ok Mia it's ok to cry love just talk to me" He tried to calm me down.

"He's dead. He's dead Cameron Sam is gone... it... hurts so bad I can't breathe
Everything hurt so much." I sat on the wet ans cold road crying.

"My mom hate me so much and my dad is in so much pain. Look at me Cam I'm messed up. I even shot you and those men.

Oh my god I shot you Cam when did I became so selfish and a bad person?" I panicked on the road.

Cameron
"Mia you are not a bad person ok" I kneed in front of her weak body. "You are the most wonderful person I ever met in my life.

"I can't believe he is gone." She kept on saying. She has been suffering from inside the whole time. She was so broken. "Hey its ok love I'm here" I hugged her as she quickly hugged me tightly.

"It's not your fault" I whispered when she hide her face in my chest and murmured something. "What?" I tried to listen because she was crying and talk and shaking at the same time.

"I kill him Cam" she said crying. "No you didn't.." I cut her off when I realise something. Everytime she called me Cam instead of Cameron means she trust me and she is talking the truth and just wants me listen to her.

I cupped her face holding her in my arm. "I killed him....I shut his ventilation machine.... I love him...I love him so much. I could not let him suffering like that. He was in so much pain and I couldn't do anything. I killed him" she said and cried I my chest. I hold her and let tears fall down my face.

We stay like this for hours when I decided to take her home. My home. Her home was such a mess so mine would be better i guess. I picked her as she fell asleep. She was so weak that she couldn't fight anymore. Thus she simply rest her head on my shoulder as I place her in my car.

Once home I picked her and entered the house to see Nash waiting for me.
"Mr Steel wants to talk to you now!" He handed me the phone. I gently placed Mia on Nash arms as he walked upstairs to my room.

"Mr Steel?"
"Is she ok Cameron?" He asked worriedly. "She is fine she just had a break down" I informed him.
"I'm sorry for everything sir" I said with a cracked voice.
"It wasn't your fault. Cameron can you let her stay at your place for a few days. Things aren't great here" He asked. " Yes of course no problem" I agreed. "Did she told you anything about turning off Sam's machine? " He suddenly asked.

I guess he knew. "Yes she mentioned it"
"Ok so this should always stay between us. Their are only four people to know about this Son. Mia...me ..Sam and you!" He explained as I agreed.

After the call i ran upstairs to see Mia sleeping peacefully in my bed. She was so weak but beautiful. I've missed her so much. This moment won't happen again so I lay next to her and pulled her close to my body.
