"Are you sure you are OK because I swear to God you do not look fine?" I asked Mia for the hundredth time while focusing on the road. "I'm fine..." She replied giving a that same look that she has on her face when she is not sure about anything.

"But?"

"But I feel freaking nervous" she burst  out of fear. I think this is what she needed. First she accepted me then the whole safe empire thing and now her mom wants to spend time with her. This all is so great that I cannot stop thinking that something bad might happen.

"It's gonna be ok love" I placed my hand gently on hers as she calms down.

Once there we noticed that it wasn't only us but May invited half of the town. We walked inside to see Mr and Mrs Steel giving us a big smile. "Hi" Mom gave me a smile as I did the same.

"Come with me for a second honey?" Dad pulled me gently from Mom and Cameron.

"Is everything ok?" I asked as we walked to the balcony. "Yes we are fine. Your mother is trying very hard to make it up to you so try to talk to her."Yeah why this sudden change?" I asked while looking around. "She just woke up the other day telling me that is was ready to make things right" He explained confusely.

After that I walked downstairs alone to fine Cameron.

"Well hello there?" I heard a familiar yet annoying voice from behind. I turned to see Luke. "What are you doing here Luke?" I gave him a confused look. Seriously he is the last person I wanted to see at that very moment. "For once you could have show me some respect dear" He gave me a death glare which make me felt angry. "Well you mom invited me. And I see you and Mr Dallas are together" He looked at Cameron who happened to talk to my mom. "Allow me to share my opinion... I think this is kind of selfish of you"

"What...do you mean by that?"

"Well you cheated on the only person who loved you the most and now just like that you are sleeping with your ex. I mean isn't that what a slut would do?" He explained.

"And how does that concern you exactly?" I asked looking at him trying freaking hard not to punch him.

"I'm just saying that this whole issue would make a great story for the media. Just imagine if people came to know how a bad person you are" He asked.

"And what's make you a good person in here?" I snapped at him as soon as he stopped talking. He looked at me with that same smile which I hate. "I wonder what will the people think of you when they will get to know the truth about you.... when they will know that Mr Godfrey is a murderer." I fired back.

"What I'm sorry?" He acted as he didn't know what was happening.

"Oh please don't show me that face. You exactly know what I'm talking about"

"Of course I know. A murderer never forgets his crime miss Steel" He looked straight into my eyes.

"So it was really you that night." I asked him. Was it him who shot My brother. "I didn't shot him..... but I ordered my guys to fire at him and his friend. You see I didn't have any choice" He walked towards me.

"You didn't had any choice. Really? They were kids god damn it?" I shouted at him angrily trying hard to keep my voice down. "I don't care who they were and if you don't get Mr me my hospital back this is what will happen to you to" He threatened me as he walked away.

"No Luke! Feel free to try whatever you want. But just keep in mind that I won't hesitate to put a bullet through that freaking head of yours." I promised him that as I walked away.

I quickly walked towards the balcony for some air. I was so angry and I needed to calm down. I stood there all alone as I looked around calming myself. "Hey what are you doing here Mia?" Mom came looking for me.

I kept looking away trying so hard not to shout or yelled at her. At that moment the only thing I had in mind was why did she invite Luke? I thought she wanted to make it up with me. I feel so crazy and broken. What the fuck is going on? Luke ordered to kill Sam. How can someone be so cruel?

"Mia are you ok honey? " Mom kept asking as I kept ignoring her and looking away. "Mia?" She walked towards me.

"Mia?" She touched my shoulder to see if I was fine. "Mia?"

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I failed to calm myself as I pushed her away. "Mia?" Cameron entered the balcony as he quickly closed the door to avoid attention from the people.

"Look what you did to me. What's happening to me?" I broke down in front on Cam and Mom. "What is the matter Mia?" Mom asked trying to help me. "Why did you invite Luke?" I asked angrily as she looked at me sadly. "I invite everyone and as far as I know Mr Godfrey is a part of our town and you know what the media tend to do if I don't invite our rivals."

"I don't care about our rivals mom. I care about my family. You invite the murderer of Our Sam in our home"  I said with a cracked voice.

"What is wrong with you mom? As if you are taking a revenge or something. Why would you do something like that to me?" I looked at her as we both cried.

"I'm trying Mia I swear I'm trying to be here with you" Mom cried as she came close to me.

"Try harder mom" I snapped at her as she looked down.

"Mia please you have to calm down ok tell me how I can fix things?" She managed to say. "OPEN YOUR EYES MOM LOOK AROUND." I yelled when my dad entered the balcony confused.

"What is going on here?" He asked looking at us. Cameron didn't know what to reply and I kept looking at mom angrily yet very sad.

"You know what I really didn't know what was wrong with me when I accepted to spend this thanksgiving with you."

"Honestly i don't wanna talk to. I don't want to.. " I cried.

"Mia I'm sorry i truly am ok please" she said while crying uncontrollably and weak. Dad walked to her as he hold her.

"No mom no... I... I never want to speak to you again. I never want to see you again.....ever." I screamed as I quickly managed to ran outside to the car and drove to Cameron's house.

I know what I did was wrong. It was selfish of me to speak to her like that. But at that moment I was so angry that I couldn't control myself.
Just when I thought things were getting better.....
