I woke up hearing Cameron's security dogs barking. I remain still for a few seconds as they stopped. I reached my phone to see that it was 2 in the morning. I turned on the other side to realise that I was alone on the bed. I sat searching for Cameron in the room. Nothing. I kept quite. No noise in the bathroom.

Where is he?

I got off the bed slowly walking outside the room. The whole house was dark but I was able to see a bit thanks to the street lights through the windows.

Ok 2.00 in the morning....No Cameron...no lights. That's a bad sign. I grabbed another old antique Steel vase from Cameron's family collection. I know it sounds dumb but it was either this or a wooden sculpture of an elephant. I walked downstairs trying to see.

This is so stressful. My heart was beating so fast that I wanted to throw up. I step forward to the back door heading to the pool to hear a sudden noise from the main door. I stood still trying to figure what the hell was that. I hold the antique steel vase tightly as I step forward to the main door.

Passing by the living room and the kitchen all of a sudden I was pulled by a strong hand and pinned to the wall. I was so scared that I waved the vase in the air to freaking beat the hell out of the person. I just returned from the hospital after a bad incident. I am not ready to go there yet.

That's when I hear the only voice I was dying to hear at that moment. I focus on the person face in the dark to see Cameron. "Calm down Mia it's me." I quickly took a deep breath resting my head on the wall as he stared at the steel vase. "What?" I whispered as he removed his hand from both my side.

"What the hell are you doing with my Vase? You cannot go around beating people with that. That's Nash's favourite vase. You have to treat it with respect" He snatched it from me as I laugh. "Well what do you want me to do? You don't have any weapon in your house and what the hell is going on where the hell were you?" I bombarded him with questions as we both hear a loud noise in the main entrance yard followed by some male voices. "They are two in the house. I want them alive and do not burn the house till I get out of it" a familiar voice ordered.

"Is that Luke?" I asked in a very scary way as he nodded. "He came for us. He is going to burn the house down." Cameron said. "What does he need in the house?" I ask when it hit us.

The hospital papers. If he burn the house down we die. Then the town won't have any choice but to hand over the hospital to Luke's empire.

"We need to get the hell out of here?" Cameron gently grabbed my hand when I stopped him. "We can't... we have worked so hard to give up Cam. We need to find the paper first." I said when he refused.
"No way I cannot risk you love we'll call the policeofficers..." He said sadly.
"Cameron the power is off and there's no service they cut everything. We won't get any help for like hours" I explained holding his hand.

"Cameron please..the hospital is all I have left. It is the last place I spend with Sam" i whispered with a cracked voice. "Fine but if something happen you ran as fast as possible" He gave me a peck on my lips as I smile.

"The papers are in the locker in the first floor. I will go grab it. I need you to go to the garage. You have to bring back the lights. Once the lights are on you reach out for the security alarm and the cops will be here. And there's a gun in my car. If anything happened I need you to use it." He cupped my face worriedly as I grabbed his hands.

"I love you so much Mia" He whispered.  "I know I love you too" I smiled as we parted away.

I watched my steps and made sure not to show myself to Luke's men. After a few minutes it managed to get in the garage without making any noises.  I closed the door behind me when I heard a bark. Fuck I forgot about Cameron's dog.
