I left her alone. I could I do that. Oh my god... I sat in the kitchen with a cup of coffee thinking what happened last night. I stared at the coffee when Nash entered as he sat in front of me. He was still in shock.
One thing I know about him is that as from now he would not be the same. He blames himself. He let his bestfriend's little brother died.

"Are you ok dude?" I asked as he looked at me with a sad and weak face. He didn't get any sleep. "I don't want to talk about it Cameron" He got up and was about to leave. "Nash stop come on we have to talk about it" I said as he stopped.

"No Cameron I messed up and I cannot do that again" He explained angrily as he walked towards the main door and I followed him. I really needed to talk to him. He is my brother. I can see him breaking apart."What do you mean?"

"We thought Mia came here because she was up to something bad but guess what she is not. And the worst thing is that you and me messed up again and again. First we couldn't save Sam and now we have violate her privacy." He looked at me waiting for something.
"Nash we deserve to know what happened to Sam and it doesn't matter how" I said trying to calm him.

"NO THIS WAS SOMETHING SHE SHOULD HAVE TOLD US. MAYBE SHE WAS NOT READY TO TELL US BUT SHE WOULD TELL US ANYWAY.  WE MESSED UP. DO YOU REALISE WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF SHE FIND OUT I WENT TO NEW YORK TO SEARCH FOR SAM?" He shouted.

"IT DOESN'T MATTER ANYMORE NASH AND FOR THE RECORD YOU WEREN'T EVEN THERE THAT NIGHT SO CALM DOWN" I shouted back at him.

"IT FUCKING MATTER TO ME CAM. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE AT LEAST I WOULD HAVE HELPED SAM INSTEAD OF STANDING STILL LIKE YOU DID. SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND AND I BETRAYED HER .I CAN'T LET HER BROKEN LIKE THAT. GOD CAN'T YOU SEE SHE NEEDS US...." He explained crying when all of a sudden he stopped looking shockingly behind me. I quickly turned to see Mia standing looking at us.

I waited for Jake to call. Apparently he had to stay in New York for something. He messaged me last night but couldn't tell me more. The thing here is that why Nash went to New York. Does that have something to do with the fact that Jake had to return back.

I kept on thinking when I felt my phone vibrating in my back pocket of my jeans. "Hey there" I answered.

"I'm so sorry Mia"
"No its ok I understand." I said. "You know something is wrong here" He said with a weird voice. "What do you mean?" I asked. "My boss told me to returned back to the office apparently we had some big news but when I returned from the airport there was nothing in the office. It seems like someone did not want me to return back." He explained.

Then it hit me. Nash went to arrange a way for Jake to not come back. I know it sounds crazy but I'm 100% sure.  "Hey I'll call you back" I hang up and ran to the car. I quickly phoned at Cameron's office. "The mayor office..how may I help you?" A woman answered. "Yes hello I was wondering if I can talk to Nash Dallas?" I asked starting to car engine.

"He is not here but would you like to give him a message?" She asked.
"Actually this is Mia Steel recently I sent Nash to New York from a meeting could you tell me if he bought back a yellow file with gold ribbon on it?" I asked not knowing what the hell i was blubbering about. I needed to know where he went.

"I'm sorry miss but Mr Dallas didn't go to any meeting. But he went to meet David Holm. He had an appointment" she informed me. Fucking shit. Mr  Holm is Jake's boss. I must say that Cameron's employees are fucking stupid.

I quickly drove to their house to see the main door opened. Im gonna slap Cameron today. It must have been his idea because Nash would never thought to do that. I walked towards the door. I couldn't see anyone when I heard a shout. What the hell? I walked fast to see Nash and Cameron fighting.
"IT FUCKING MATTER TO ME CAM. HER BROTHER IS DEAD AND WE SHOULD BE THEIR FOR HER THE WHOLE TIME BUT INSTEAD ALL WE HAVE DONE IS TREAT HER LIKE SHIT. ESPECIALLY YOU?" Nash yelled crying when he noticed me.

At that time I was so shocked that I could not move. How dare them dig in my past. "Mia" Cameron walked towards me when I stepped back making him stopped. Nash turned away crying. Cameron waited for me to say something. Tears were running down my cheeks.

"Mia I'm sorry" Cameron approached me. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!..." I shouted and ran back to my car. "No no no  Mia stop please you cannot drive like that" Cameron ran after me. He was so scared and sad.

First they kidnap my boyfriend. Then they sabotage my boyfriend and now they dig into my past when I strictly forbidden them. I don't know what to do anymore. All I know is that I made a mistake coming back here.
