Bathroom chaos
Saraih was more than happy to be off the road already. Her body ached from how crammed everybody and everything was. Everyone else, but her, went to check the neighborhood out. She stayed and fixed her bed instead. Her body begged for the warmth and comfort only her bed could provide her with.
Not owning as much has its advantages as Saraih didn't have to unpack much and by 22:23 her bedroom was already finished. Relieved and tired, she pulled out her soap, pouf and towel in order to take a shower. As she advanced towards the bathroom, a door swung open and her parents came in conversing about some ice cream parlor down the main street. Not caring, she shrugged and continued her journey to the shower. She was more than excited to get one. If only she could spend hours in it... but bearing the economical circumstances her family possessed the thought quickly went away.
She was still excited for a shower nonetheless, yet turning the lights on made her deeply regret her overall will to live.
The bathroom was filthy. The sink was stained with toothpaste and dried out soap traces. Thick hair wrapped around the pop up. The toilet was piss stained and the shower... The shower disturbed Saraih the most making her writhe in disgust.
Saraih sighed in dismay.
All she wanted was a quick shower.
And so she went back into her room, dropped the items on her carpeted floor and went downstairs for some cleaning supplies. She scrubbed an hour away until she was able to take her deserved shower.
"Much better..." She says to herself, as she changes into her pajamas, brushes her hair, and hangs her used towel on a hook. Saraih then looks at the time on her phone.
23:14
Saraih jumped into her cold, fluffy covers, smiling in delight. As she felt herself about to zonk out she realized her light was still on. She opens her eyes halfway and stares at the light bulb for a few seconds. She huffs, sliding the covers off her body, and walking towards the switch, flicking it off with a second huff. Her shoulders slouch in exhaustion as she yawns, rubbing one eye with a fist.
Stars shining right above you
"Huh?" Saraih's head snapped at the music's direction, noticing her window was still open from when she needed the smell of cigarettes from her room to disperse.
Night breezes seem to whisper I love you
As she slid the window down she looked across and noted another figure staring back at her from the next door window. The moon shone its delicate light against the figure's dark, milky skin. Her eyes caught onto Saraih's gaze. The figure greeted her with twinkling eyes, curiosity filled her moonlit face making Saraih look away, a slight blush grew on her cheeks for being caught gazing.
Say nighty-night and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
"Hmph." She shook the girl's image away and finished closing her window, bringing down the window shade. She sighed and wrapped the covers around her body. Beginning to relax, she murmured a small prayer into the pillow and soon fell asleep.
Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries far behind you
But in your dreams whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
