"So, you're going on a date?" My friend, AJ asks. I had picked him up to visit me. I grin at him and fall back onto my bed.

"Yes," I reply slyly but furrow my brows. "Wait. No. She made it clear that it's not a date."

He scoffs and looks at me, raising one eyebrow. "But you're Harry freaking Styles," he clears his throat. "She's playing hard to get."

"She's not playing hard to get. She is hard to get," I clarify. "Which is what drew me into her."

"And you said she didn't even know who you are?" He questions. I nod and sit up. "Every girl in the world knows who you are." He spins around in his spinny chair whilst throwing a piece of popcorn in the air, trying to land it in his mouth.

"Guess she's not from this world, then," I sigh and stand up. I head into the bathroom and check myself out in the mirror to make sure I look decent.

"What do you have planned?" AJ asks once I exit the restroom. I lean against the wall and shrug.

"We'll probably go to Magnolia's," I suggest.

"So, you have nothing planned, I suppose," he cackles. "You're taking her to where she works at. For a date."

"Not a date." I clarify, wagging my finger at him.

"Still. That's not like you, Styles. Step up your game." He says cheekily, grinning at me.

"Maybe we'll go to the park or something. Nothing too extravagant." I suggest as I straighten out my black tee.

"That's better." He nods. "But didn't you ask her for dinner?"

My eyes widen. "That's right! I'll figure things out," I promise him, cursing at myself for not thinking ahead.

It was around six pm when my bandmates, Mitchell, Alex, Clare, Sarah, and Adam, walk through the door to the suite.

"Where have you been?" Alex asks as he sees me by the wall.

"Went for a jog," I shrug. "And then got an iced latte." I gesture towards the half full cup of coffee on the side table.

Clare snatches it up and takes a sip of it before putting it down. "Hey!" I shout while chuckling.

Sarah speaks up before Clare can talk. "She's been wanting coffee all day." She explains. "Be lucky that she didn't drink the whole thing."

Clare giggles and heads to her room while Sarah follows.

"You were jogging from six am to six pm?" Adam asks, looking at me in suspicion.

"I hung out with AJ and invited him over," I explain. "We played Fifa for a few hours."

Mitch shakes his head at me and sighs. "I was thinking we could record tonight," he suggests.

I shake my head, "No can do."

"Why?" Alex asks as his brows scrunch.

"He has a date tonight." AJ speaks up for me before I have the chance to talk.

"Not a date." I retort.

"You're gonna have to cancel," Mitch admits.

I frown. "Why? This is my album. My music. My career." I blurt. "I can't have one night to myself?"

"First of all," Adam starts. "This is our album. Our music. Our career." He glares. "And this is a team effort."

I sigh and nod. "Sorry. I'm stressed." I groan, rubbing my temples. "I'm going out tonight for a few hours. We can record all we want tomorrow."

"But-"

I interrupt Mitch. "No." I wave him off. "I'm going to have one night. One night. I'm not gonna sit here and be told what to do. I'm an adult. I make my own choices."

The room becomes quiet for a moment before Mitch speaks up again. "Just one night." He caves and shakes his head, walking to his room.

"Who's this mystery girl, Harry?" Adam asks curiously.

I grin at him and shrug. "She's hard to explain."

An hour goes by before I ring her. After four rings, she picks up. "Hello?" She breathes into the receiver.

"Hey!" I exclaim, sitting in my car. "I'm on my way. Where should I pick you up?"

"Uhhh. 3209 Mammoth road. On the corner."

"Okay. I'll be there soon." I tell her and she hangs up. "Siri, give me directions to 3209 Mammoth road."

"Here are directions to 3209 Mammoth road."
