"I can't trust anyone but you at this point." Emery says blandly, watching the road ahead of us. I hum.

"I'll just drop you off at home, okay?" I let her know as I pull up to her house.

"You're not coming in?" Her face falls. I shake my head.

"I have to record. I have an album to make. I'm sorry. Unless you want to stay up all night with me." I offer with a chuckle. She pushes her light hair back and shakes her head.

"I think I'll just go to sleep." She giggles but frowns. "Will you be here for me, Harry?"

"Physically, no. Mentally, yes." I promise her. I lean in and kiss her forehead. "Sleep well. It doesn't matter what time it is. If you have a nightmare, call me."

The corner of her lips twitch and threaten to smile. "I'll fake a nightmare just to call you."

"I wouldn't mind that."

I hop up the steps and slide my card to unlock the door. The lock beeps and I walk in. Bean automatically runs up to me and meows. "You hungry, baby?" I ask him, scooping him into my arms.

I head across the dark living room and pour some cat food into his bowl. He meows at me and starts to scarf down his food. I watch him for a moment before climbing into Harry and I's fort. I lay down and curl up against one of the pillows while covering myself with one of the fuzzy blankets.

The blanket smells of Harry which helps me fall to sleep.

My dream consists of green eyes, butterflies, and the sweet smell of mango cologne.

I'm awoken from the sound of my phone. I reach over and grab the device to check the contact. Unknown number.

I press the green answer button and put the phone to my ear. "Hello?" My voice is raspy when it comes out.

"Hi Emery." Marge's husband speaks through the phone.

"Oh hey!" I sit up and rub my eyes. "What's up?"

"I need to talk to you about Magnolia's." He starts.

"I know I've been gone but it's just under the circumstances-"

"I want you to put it up for sale." He says plainly.

"S-sale? Why?" I ask in confusion.

"There's no real purpose for it anymore." He explains and continues to talk about selling it.

"So you want me to take the money?" I breathe, scratching my head.

"Of course. You deserve this. Marge would've wanted this, Emery. You were her best friend." He explains.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm completely sure." I can hear his smile through his words. "We can talk more about this tomorrow, okay?"

"Uh- yeah, okay." I stutter.

We say our goodbyes and he hangs up. I stay confused for a moment. I'm selling Magnolia's. Where I've worked for four years. I swallow the lump in my throat and crawl out of the fort to sit on the couch.
