I sit quietly beside Harry in his car. The whole ride, AJ and Harry talk about random shit I don't care about.

We stop in front of another house and I turn my head confusedly at Harry. "Where are we?" I ask him.

"Just picking up one last person." He smiles and grabs my hand. His hand squeezes mine quickly. "Don't worry about it."

"Okay?" I say awkwardly as a guy walks out of the house, smiling. He's tall with sandy blonde hair. He shoots Harry a smile and a wave. He climbs into the backseat with AJ.

"Uh," Harry clears his throat and releases my hand, turning back to the man. "Oliver, this is Emery. Emery, that's Oliver."

I turn in my seat and smile at him. "Nice to meet you."

He grins and shakes my hand. "Just call me Ollie." He continues to shake my hand and then stops, keeping my hand in his.

Harry coughs and turns me forward. "Ready?" He murmurs. I shrug and nod.

"Always."

Once we get into the bar, Harry disappears with AJ. "Wait! Harry!" I shout, but he doesn't hear me.

Oliver chuckles beside me. "He'll be back, don't worry." He grins and leads me to a booth in the corner of the bar. I look to the bar where he sits and laughs with AJ.

"How do you know?" I sigh and turn back to him. He signals a waitress over and orders himself a coke and I get a sprite.

He takes a sip and looks at me with a smile. "Harry's not one to leave a pretty girl like yourself." He raises a brow and nods at me. I huff and turn back to look at Harry. "You look pathetic."

I focus back on Oliver. "Is it that noticeable?" I ask with a small laugh. He pushes his hair out of his face.

"Just a bit." He shoves me lightly from across the table. "Don't worry about him. He's gonna get bored and he'll come over."

I don't reply but instead, I sit there awkwardly drinking my Sprite. "So.." Oliver begins, tapping his fingers against the table. "Where are you from?"

"North Carolina." I state plainly and swirl around my drink with my straw. I watch the icecubes spin in circles, clanking against the side of the glass. "How about you?"

"Actually, I'm from right here in New York."

"Is that so?"

He can tell I'm not interested, so he stops talking. We sit there for a while and let the quiet music drown out our thoughts.

Harry's body slams against me, his arms wrapping around me. "Hi Emery. I missed you. You're warm." He slurs and cradles his face into the curve of my neck. His eyes are glazed and his lips are redder than normal. AJ slides in next to Oliver, cackling.

"Harry is fucked." He grins at Oliver and steals his drink.

I wrap my arm around him and rub my hand up and down his back. "Cuddle me, Em." He pouts and gives my shoulder a quick kiss.

"Harry. How many drinks have you had?" I laugh and tilt his head up to look at me.

"Not alot." He frowns and buries his head in my neck again. "I'm a lightweight."

Oliver chuckles. "We can tell."

AJ hits him playfully. "Shush. They're being cute!"

I scoff and turn my head towards Harry's. "Are you tired?" I whisper to him, looking curiously into his glossy eyes.

"No." He shakes his head. "Let's cuddle."

"The bar is about to close." Oliver informs. "Are you driving or am I?"

Harry shoots his head up and raises his hand. "I'll drive!" He shouts.

"No. Not a chance." I shake my head. I turn my head to see AJ sleeping in Oliver's lap. "Oliver. Can you get an Uber and take AJ home?"

He nods. "I'll get on it." He grunts and tries to get AJ to stand up. He takes his arm and puts it around his shoulders. He heads to the door. "I guess I'll see you around, Emery." He turns his head to me.

I wave and smile. "Emery do you love him?" Harry asks, his arms still around me.

"No." I laugh. "I just met him."

He smiles lazily. "I like your laugh," he slurs. "Do you love me?"

My heart stops for a moment and I clear my throat. "Y-yeah. Harry. You're my friend. Why wouldn't I love you?"

He shakes his head and looks up to me. "Are you IN love with me?" He asks, clarifying his question.

"Uh..." I falter.

He chuckles. "Just kidding." His head lays on my shoulder.

"Heh."
