Sage follows me out to my car and I open the door for her as she slides in. I stride around the front of the vehicle and get into the driver's seat. "What are we doing?" Sage inquires.
I start the car and head down the road. "We're going to try and make Em feel a little bit better."
"Sounds good." Sage smiles. "I didn't mean to make her feel bad."
"What did you do?" I question. "I mean- you aren't the reason Marge died." I bite back the feeling to cry at her name.
"I offended her. I tried to talk about something stupid rather than listening to what she had to say." She frowns. "I'm a bad friend, aren't I?"
I shake my head as we turn into the Walmart parking lot. "You're not a bad friend." I tell her, shutting the car off. I turn to her. "We all make mistakes." I say assuringly.
She nods with a smile and follows me into Walmart. "First things first," I start, turning to her as we walk through the store. "Food." A grin spreads across my face.
"Of course." Sage giggles and skips next to me as I push the cart.
"What's Em's favorite food?" I look through the food aisle.
"Literally anything that has to do with noodles." Sage purses her lips as she looks through the food.
We end up getting stuff for chicken alfredo, sheets, white Christmas lights, pillows, and blankets.
I don't tell Sage what everything is for so we can surprise Emery.
Before walking out of the store, a few girls get quick pictures with me. "Quite the ladies man." Sage winks. I just chuckle and continue to push the cart to my car. Her hand ends up on top of mine.
I don't push it away. I don't want to be rude. She helps me pack everything in the trunk and we're back on the road.
Once I pull into Emery's driveway, I go to leave the car when Sage grabs my hand. I turn to her. "Yes?" I laugh slightly and sit back down.
"I know you like me, Harry. I mean look at me..." she bites her lip, leaning closer to me.
"Heh." I breathe. "Let's go check on Emery." I go to leave the car but she pulls me back again.
"Just kiss me, Harry." She rolls her eyes and leans in to kiss me. I turn away from her.
"We can't do this here," I warn, shutting my door. I start the car. "Where do you live?"
She looks accomplished with herself as I drive to her place.
It takes just three minutes for me to get to her house. "Okay we have to be quiet. I don't know if my parents are home." She giggles.
I throw her a wink. "Go check."
"Okay. Do you have any condoms?" She asks.
"Plenty." I grin. She bites her lip and hops out of the car. Before she even has the chance to go insside, I start the car and lock the doors. "Thanks for the help. Have a nice afternoon!" I shout to her and speed away. She yells something at me but I'm already on my way to Emery's house.

"Harry, this is so cool." I breathe and look around the little fort he had made in front of the TV. He took four stools from my kitchen, placed a couple of white sheets over the top and plugged in some white lights to illuminate the small fort which was decorated with big pillows and blankets.
He made chicken Alfredo which we had already finished. He hooked up Netflix up from his phone to the TV.
And now, my head lied on his stomach as we watched Blue Lagoon.
"Did you like this surprise?" He whispers, tracing his fingers up and down my arm.
I nod and look up at him. "I can't believe Sage had to go home, though." I frown.
"Would you rather her be here than me?" He asks, his voice in a hushed tone.
I sit up and turn to him, placing my legs over his. "Not necessarily." I say in amusement.
"That warms my cold heart." He jokes placing his hand over his chest.
"Harry..." I murmur, grabbing his hand. I place it against my chest where my heartbeat is. "Do you feel that?"
He nods and looks at me with wondering eyes. "That's what a mended heart feels like. Thank you. For everything."
His face softens and he pulls me to his chest, wrapping his arms around me. "I'm happy when I'm with you."
"So am I." I whisper, curling my head in the crook of his neck.
"Thank you for being my friend..." He whispers into my hair.
"Always."
