Aim 18: In Their shoes

[{Xavier's POV)]

That was close.

I am sure lucky to get away from him....i mean the way he looked at me was really hard for me to take in.

He just looked so shock!

I'm really curious know on what had really happen to that Jace guy. It seems no mater how i try to avoid him the closer anyone related to him to get near me.

As i was walking by the halls i saw a ... white hair, green eyed, five year old kid , wearing a navy blue shirt and cream colored shorts, running toward me but he trips due to his untied shoe lace.

I quickly ran to see if the crying kid is alright.

I am a big brother to a five year old ,so yeah i know that when a kid trips..check if he's fine.

When i got there the kid was crying uncontrollably since i can tell it was a painful trip,

So i carried the kip up and gave him a gentle pat on the back"Shhh. Calm down now buddy. I'm here okay" It didn't take a while before he calmed down.

After crying though he gave me this" curious look" then he suddenly smiled and said "Dawdy find me! "

Daddy?

"I'm not your Daddy little dude" I answered as i gave off a small laugh

"But...you look like him" He innocently stated as he points at me

Dang...how can i counter this? Oh I got it! "I'm not your daddy. He's bigger and older than me and ugh...he has...white hair not like mine" i said nervously

"Oh" the kid said looking a bit disappointed

"Hey calm down buddy. Say why are you even doing all running here at the hallways?"

"I was wunning because my cwosins were fighting. I was scward that i decided to sneak out. It was so scary mister" the kid explained looking like he's about to cry again

I just smiled and pat the back of the kid to calm him down again.

Well...i'll be darn...

That's some shit to do in front of a kid, let alone that they're his own cousins. I feel like i want to kick some sense back in their head.

I just shook my head and rubbed the kid's head and said"Would you like to hang out with me? I promise i'll give you back to your Dad"

The kid look at me reluctantly but i did the signature "Crossed my heart" in front of him causing him to smile

"Ok...oh but daddy swaid to me that i shouldn't go talk to strangwers" he said looking a bit sad again

"Is that so...how about this i'll introduce myself to you and you introduce yourself to me so that we'll not be strangers then. Is that okay?"

The kid nodded and smiled "Okay! I'm Jack and wyou awe?" He asked

I just chuckle a bit and said"Its Xavier"

"Xavi...avie...ahh. Its hawd" he said looking irritated

"How about calling me Avie then. I don't really mind" i said reassuringly

"Okay avie!" He said with a big smile

I just chuckle when i noticed that this kid isn't the fan of brushing, by just looking at his missing front tooth.

After that moment i decided to go back to the room for a while with this traumatize little guy with me.

I guess luck is siding with me today since by around this time, there's no one in our room .
