"Goodmorning! Let's go check on Teagan because I believe she up and being lazy and playing on her phone in bed" mommy says and come in my room. I'm facetiming Brennan when she comes in and I look up at her. "Hey mommy. Vlogging?" I ask when she comes in and she nods. "Hey Mrs.Katie!" Brennan says and mommy leans over. "Hey Brennan! Say hi to the vlog!" She says and he waves. "Tell the vlog what you and Teagan are doing for your date tonight" she says and he laughs. "It's a surprise" he says and brings his finger to his lip. "Well text me then because I do wanna know where y'all are going" mommy laughs and then walks out.
I come down for breakfast and Paige looks at me with this goofy smile on her face. "What?" I ask as I put ketchup on my fried eggs. "I know what your doing for your date!" She says excitedly and I laugh. "All I know is that he's picking me up at 6 on the boat" I say. "And he said I can wear a dress" I add and start eating.
I lay on the couch and watch a couple movies with Hayley and Annie before I go up and shower. When I get out I do my makeup and curl my hair lightly. I put on my dress and jewelry and shoes before going downstairs. "Awe you look so pretty!" Annie says. "Thank you! Wanna take a selfie?" I ask and she nods. We take a couple pictures together and then make a musically for her account.
A couple minutes later Brennan comes to the back door and knock. I wave him in since our whole back door is class and he can see us and he comes inside. "Wow you look amazing" he says with a smile on his face. He's wearing khaki pants and a nice button up shirt. "Thank you. So do you" I say and we leave. We walk down to my dock together and he helps me step on the boat. I take a seat and watch him as he drives us downtown. "So where are we going?" I ask and he tells me we're going to my favorite sea food restaurant and then to get ice cream. I smile big. "I'm surprised your parents let you take the boat out by yourself" I say and he looks at me and laughs. "I'm doing free grass cutting for a month" he says and I laugh. "You wanna drive?" He asks and I nod. "Sure" I say and stand behind the wheel. He stands behind me and shows me how to drive since I don't actually know how to drive a boat.
We eat dinner and then go to our favorite ice cream shop. We laugh as we eat our ice cream and he gets it on his nose.
On the boat ride home he asks me how I've been, mentally. He knows about how I fell into my deep depression when Caleb passed. "I've been a lot better. Getting out of Maryland for awhile helped. LA was great. Mom and dad want to get us an apartment out there" I tell him. "Are y'all gonna be going back that much?" He asks. "Yeah I guess. With Annie working with Rock your Hair we have too. Me and Annie will both probably end up quitting gymnastics" I tell him. We park at my dock and he sits down next to me. "I just want you to know that tonight was the best night I've had in a really long time. I know the last year has been really hard for you and I want to be here for you, on more than a best friend level" he says. I nod "I'd like that" I say and he walks me to the back door. He kisses my cheek before I go inside. Everyone's already in bed so I go up to bed.
