<~> Kara <~>
Kara sat on her couch, eyes wandering around her apartment aimlessly, she was bored out of her mind waiting for Alex, and after such a hectic day, all she'd wanted was some time alone, but right now that was the exact opposite of what she wanted. With nothing else to do, her mind was drifting and her thoughts were scattered, never staying on a single topic for a few seconds. That seemed to happen to her sometimes, she would get sidetracked easily, or distracted by something else. The only time this didn't seem to happen was when she was attempting to protect people or stopping criminals or some sort of alien.
Suddenly, there was a knock on her door, and Kara sprang to her feet, not bothering to use her x-ray vision on the door before swinging it open to find her sister standing on the other side, with a bag of something in her hand, presumably potstickers.
"Ooh!" Kara said, reaching for the delicious food, but Alex shifted it out of her reach, and watched as her sister laughed. "Please?" She begged, turning on her pouty face.
"Please try and wait until Maggie gets here." Alex pleaded, a smile still on her face. "Please?"
Kara considered this a moment. "Fine, but you better hide them, or else I might not be able to stop myself." She said, wiggling her fingers and reaching towards the bag once more.
"But you have x-ray vision!" Alex protested. "How am I supposed to hide them?"
"You're my awesome, super cool, amazingly smart sister. I'm sure you can find a way." Kara said, and her sister's smile widened slightly at the compliment, before stepping forward and embracing the Kryptonian.
Kara held her tightly for a few moments, glad to be spending some time with her sister. They were extremely close, and she wouldn't want to spend this night with anyone but her, and Maggie since she made Alex happy, but was also one of her friends. Kara didn't have too many super close friends, but she did have a few, with James, Winn, Lena, and J'onn on that list. Of course that wasn't counting Alex, who was both her sister and her best friend.
Kara held the door open as Alex entered and set her stuff down on the table before turning around in a circle to survey the entire apartment, despite the fact that she'd already seen it a lot. "Did you pick a movie yet?"
"How do you feel about Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire?" Kara asked. "I hope Maggie is alright with that."
"That's a great choice, you can never go wrong with Harry Potter." Alex said, and Kara nodded in agreement. "Now, close your eyes so I can put these potstickers away. No x-ray vision!" She said teasingly.
