"So, how's your article coming along?" Alex asked, sitting at the counter next to Kara. "Still have to work on it today?"
"Yeah, it's coming along pretty well. I have really high hopes for this one!" She responded excitedly. "It's important, so it might even make the front page! Snapper tells me that our job it to inform people, and this will do that. This can help people understand what's going on so they can keep themselves safe."
"You're a fantastic reporter." Alex complimented her. "I'm sure that it's going to make front page."
"I hope."
"Are you doing anything else today?" She asked. "Well, other than being Supergirl."
"Finishing my article, which I guess you already knew." Kara responded, grinning. "Then I'm going to get lunch with Lena at the new place down on West Ave and Thatcherside."
"Oh, Silver's? I've heard that place is good. But anyways, lunch with Lena?" Alex raised an eyebrow. "Like a date?" She asked with a playful smirk. "You're going on a date with Lena Luthor?"
Kara laughed. "Uh, no, not like a date." She said, unsure of what she thought about her sister's comment. "We're just going to lunch as friends. Friends can have lunch together."
"Of course." Alex said with a wink. Kara rolled her eyes. "So -"
She was cut off by her phone ringing next to her. Picking it up, she glanced at the name of the caller and then held it up to her ear. "Danvers... Yeah. Yeah. Alright, I'm on my way. Bye." She sighed. "That was the DEO, they're calling me. I need to go."
"Do they need me to come too?" Kara questioned.
"No, they're just running more tests and scans to try and find out where the Emblazoned are hiding out." She explained. "But, if we do find anything, I promise I'll tell you. Right now, you just need to finish your article. Then you can go and have some fun with Lena."
"Are you sure? I can reschedule that if the DEO needs me."
"No, no. Go have fun." Alex insisted. "You deserve it."
