Here we are Jonah is staring at Matty. He was with his girlfriend. Well Elizabeth is wearing a mask and a cap
today. Guess she don’t want to look bad in the people. But it’s kind of irritating because she looks pitiful wearing it.
making her look like a sick person. And now I feel bad for her.

Jonah gave him a signal, they both walked through the alley and talked. So ako naman, naki tago rin habang
pinapakinggan ang pinag uusapan nila.
“what happened last night?” Jonah is freaking serious right now. He was standing at Matty’s front. He wants to
grab his attention and gesturing his authority on him. He folded his arms. And Matty on the other hand too is trying to
stand his presense. They were like preparing for a gladiator combat. All tensed and fiery eyes on each other.

“we went home and we just slept” he is likes teasing. But not this kind of teasing, there was something in his voice
that’s making him felt envious about Jonah’s presence.

“you just slept? How can I believe you when you were in love with her? When you were technically, beside her.
Or for Pete’s sake maybe you rested beside her. And enjoying her presense with your bed.! At alam ko pang mag
bestfriend kayo, hindi malayong ma fall rin siya sayo…” galit na sinabi ni Jonah ito. Para siyang tigre, holding back his
power before bursting out. From all of those pains that’s filling up his anger.

“Hindi ako F*ckBoy kagaya ng iniisip mo Jonah. I did my waiting well in fact for all of my life from the moment I
saw her. I held myself back! I didn’t touch her, and I will never touch her. And of course I can’t touch her because of
you! She is with you, what am I supposed to do she choose you. Ano pa ba ang papel ng best friend sa boyfriend?”

nasasaktan din siya. And it was so obvious. While hearing all those statements. May’s tears began to fall.

“Listen Matty I still can’t trust you, I knew if things won’t work out on us too. She will come back to you. And
that’s what I’m afraid to lose. I’m afraid to lose her. I love her, I can’t afford to let her go it will be painful for me. She
was my life now. And the thing that it’s you, youre presense is shaking her. If I could only turn back the time I wish I
should be the bestfriend too. But the reality is tearing me, I felt like a lifeless boat in the middle of the ocean. I’m
stocked in between the both of you.”

“well I also wished the she would notice me. Like the way she likes you! I was so jealous about you. She never
noticed my feelings for we had a long time keeping each other’s company. I knew it the moment she said to me that
she had a crush on you! I knew I was going to lose. I loved her too, probably just more than you ever know. That is why
I still can’t let her go…”

“Just freaking let her go! This is why she can’t move a little bit because you’re trying to stop her feelings. See
matty if you come back to her again. I won’t let you stole her. She is mine…”

He walked away from him. Giving him the last warning. He walked away not to start the fight. When Jonah
reached the end of the alley. He saw May, folded in her knees. When she looks on him. she is crying, he let her stand.
Then he hugs her closely. Gently wiping her tears on her face. He knows that she is confused.

And Matty saw the whole scene. From that moment on he never stepped closely. He walked away too in a
different direction. But walking away from her is the hardest thing that he did. He never really wanted to show up in
the classroom looking like a hellboy. He grabs his back pack without turning his head. He walked through the hallways.
Elizabeth saw him and approached him. But he did nothing. He isn’t in the mood talking to people. He is upset, and
everyone was so shocked on the way he acted today.

Bumalik siya sa Parking lot at sumakay sa sasakyan. Turned the engine on and dali dali siyang umalis. Hindi niya
alam kung saan siya tutungo ngayon. He never went home. Pumunta siya sa pinakamalapit na grocery store. Pumunta siya sa clothing section at pinili niya ang pinaka wild na damit. Sawa na siyang magpakitang tao. Kaya naman binili na
niya ito. Sinuot niya ang bagong damit sa loob ng sasakyan niya. bumalik siya sa kanyang pagmamaneho. Pumunta
siya sa mga malapit na bar. Hindi pa nga siya nakaka get over sa nangyari sa kanya. Bar na naman ang pinutahan niya.

And he went on the counter ordering a tequila. He took a big shot, and he ordered again another shot. He didn’t notice
that Elizabeth Parker too was tailing him where he is heading.
Pumasok din siya sa bar, nakita niya puro matatanda at lasing. May mga hookers na sumasayaw sa gitna ng stage.
At may nag approach pa sa kanya.

Hinawakan siya sa braso. Grabe ang palag ni Elizabeth, akala kasi ng costumer isa
din siya sa mga bayaran. Kaya naman umeksena si Matty. At hinablot din siya, at humawak siya sa beywang ni
Elizabeth. Mabuti nga lang nakita siya agad ni matty. “dude she is mine find yours” gesturing the big man to find
another one.

Mabuti nga lang nakaka intindi yung lalake at umalis din siya. Binaba na ni Matty ang kanyang kamay mula sa
beywang nito. Makikita mo naman ang pagkadismaya ni Elizabeth sa kanya. He just felt protective beside her. He
doesn’t feel anything to her. Kaya naman expectation ni Elizabeth biglang bumaba.

She followed him back to his seat.
Even if it’s too painful for her to watch him being a broken man. She sat beside him and took a tequila too. Siya ang
naunang nagsalita sa kanilang dalawa. “why are you here? Matty?” raising her beautiful eyebrows. She had those long curly bonded hairs. Dark make-
up and is making her look matured. She loves showing of her beauty and even her body curves. That is why everyone
is chasing after her. Masyado din siyang popular not because of her rich family. But because of her friendships. She
was everyone’s friends. Matty take a good look on her.

She can’t be compared to May. May looks good even she doesn’t wear a Make-up. Pareho silang magkaiba. May
used to be a simple girl and she was a gorgeous woman. He just smirked to her.
