Carl and I both got up from his bed. We peeked our heads out to see if any walkers were nearby. I grabbed my side but my knife wasn't there. I figured I left it in my cell. Carl put his hand on my shoulder and nodded, letting me know I won't need it.

We slowly walked towards the cell where the crying was coming from. We took a look inside.

The blonde haired girl sat on the floor crying.

"Whiny bitch." Carl muttered under his breath.

I playfully elbowed him and we both laughed, making sure the girl couldn't hear us.

She turned her head up and looked at us with wide eyes. She cleaned her tears with the sleeve of her sweater.

"If you're here to laugh at me, please go away."

I stepped into her cell, and she gulped. I looked back at Carl and nodded at him, making sure he left.

The girl started crying again, and I slowly crept towards her.

"Why are you here!" She said impatiently.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked, totally ignoring her question.

"Nothing you'd care about, since your a friend of Maggie's." She said, I noticed the way she said Maggie- as if in disgust.

"Well, I think even if I am a friend of Maggie, I could help you."

"What's your name?" She asked looking at me.

"Whats yours?"

"I asked you first."

"I asked you second." I said.

She laughed a little , as a mean girl bullying someone would- an evil laugh.

"My name is Beth." She said

"Meslie." I reached out my hand and she slightly moved back, placing a hand infront of it, as if she was high-fiving the wind.

"Okay..." I said, but only I heard it.

"So- you want to know why I was crying?" She said.

"I think if I came in here to just ask- I probably do."

She rolled her eyes. "Don't act smart with me."

"Well then don't ask dumb questions." I shrugged.

She sighed heavily." You're just like Maggie. Annoying and, and -UGH!"

I slightly laughed. Her 'insults' were not in any way insulting.

"You know life's not fair. Not fair!" She put her arms up. "Guess who saved Glenn, me! I saved him! And as soon as he comes to camp, he lays his eyes on Maggie! That stupid slut!" She yelled.

"Don't call Maggie a slut!" I snapped.

She crossed her arms. "Get out of my cell- now."

"Whatever you say, my majesty." I bowed, and left the cell. Carl was right, why would she whine about Maggie and Glenn's marriage? Glenn chose Maggie, and I think he made the right choice.

Carl stood in the next cell, leaning against the wall. As soon as he saw me, he got up and held out his hand. "Let's leave your majesty alone." I laughed and took his hand. "Yes sir."
