Max's POV

"Well?" Lily asked expectantly as I walked into form.

"Well what?" I plopped myself into the seat next to her.

She rolled her eyes and said, "You know what".

I internally groaned and remembered mine and Harvey's conversation yesterday.

"Harvey confonted me about us and how it was wrong for me to 'date' you blah blah blah. And then he apologized for shouting at me and asked us not to hold hands or kiss or whatever in front of him blah blah blah, and that's it", I summerised.

"So he's okay with us?"

I scoffed. "Okay? Of course he's not okay! He may say he's okay but I can read him like a book, Lily. Don't forget we're twins".

"Alright, alright. So he is jealous?"

"Yup. Never seen him more jealous in my life since I got the blue tricycle when we were 4".

Lily grinned devilishly and simply said 'Good'.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Harvey walk through the door and quickly whispered to her, "Harvey's coming!"

I immediately turned my attention to my book; I felt Lily shuffle closer to me as she peered over my shoulder, as if she was reading alongside me. I could feel her embarrassment radiating off her and onto me.

How did I even end up in this situation? Oh yeah, I agreed to it. Well done Max, well done.

"Ahem", someone awkwardly coughed.

"Yes Harvey?" Lily replied, in a falsely sweet tone.

"Max, that's my seat", He told me, ignoring Lily.

"No- it's James's, but he's not here yet".

"I was talking to him earlier and he said I could sit here. So move". He indicated to my usual seat.

"O-okay..." I moved to where I normally sat which was behind Lily.

I was quite glad to move away from and have my back on them, even if it was less than a metre away and I could still feel the tension in the air.

Harvey's POV

I smirked at Lily's burning glare. I didn't want them together, even if their relationship wasn't real, but it still bothered me.

"You didn't have to do that Harvey", she hissed at me.

"Do what? Sit on a chair?" I laughed.

She huffed grumpily and glared at the wall in front instead.

"Someone's on their period", I muttered lowly, but loud enough for her to hear.

Lily narrowed her eyes at me for a second but continued her glaring at the wall.

I quietly laughed but accidentally slipped a chuckle out of my mouth.

She turned furiously towards me and smashed her foot onto mine. After yelping in pain and Lily triumphantly smirking at me, we both turned to glare at the wall together.
