"What's got your panties in a twist?" Harper asked me as I sat down in my usual seat for English.

'Harvey fricking Mills happened". I huffed grumpily.

"What'd he do this time?"

"Got us both into detention being the idiot he is".

"Ah. Well have fun in detention then".

I glared at her. "Thanks", I said scarcastically.

English was soon over and so were all my lessons, which meant detention time.

"Oh hey Lily". Harvey smirked.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh hey Harvey".

"Excited for detention?"

"Super excited", I replied, my voice dripping in sarcasm.

"Great! Cause' we're gonna have lots of fun!" He said, ignoring my sarcastic tone.

"Whoopie".

I looked around the room; there were hardly any people apart me, Harvey, Harvey's stupid friend Josh, a boy from the older years and a girl with blonde hair dip dyed red.

Hadn't I seen her before? She was definitely in my year that's for sure.

"Ugh, it's Lily. Why is she here?" Josh whined to Harvey.

"Ugh, it's Josh. Why is he such a moron?" I shot back.

"What did you even do to get a detention? Forget your reading book? Goody-two-shoes" Josh and Harvey sniggered.

"Actually, Harvey's the reason why we're here", I shot him a glare.

"Me? You're the one who couldn't keep her little mouth shut and had to get us in trouble!"

"Amateurs", Josh snorted, "I got a detention for drawing 'inappropriate' pictures in a textbook. The school's calling my parents. Again".

"That's what you get for being a moron, Josh".

"Drink bleach"

"Why don't you?" A new voice said angrily.

I whipped round to see the blonde girl with dip-dyed hair. I realised she was quite tall and skinny now that she was standing up.

"What did you say?"

"You heard me"

"Who do you think you are?"

"Your cousin. And if you don't zip up that that stupid little mouth of yours, I'm telling Aunt Clare".

That shut him up.

"He's your cousin?! That is related to you?!" I asked her, my mouth wide open.

"Sucks to be me I know"

"Wow okay. Oh and thanks for that" I smiled gratefully.

"You're welcome" she smiled back.

"I never caught your name..."

"It's Kiara. Kiara Stoughton".
