Chapter - 9
No Worries

Ever since Seidou's loss against Inashiro the entire team was more quiet than usual. They found it to difficult to eat during all of their three meals. They even thought at one point that they weren't worthy.

But all of that occurred days ago. Seidou had managed to get around that and start fresh. It definitely would be a fresh start since the third years would be retiring.

"Hey... Kazuya.." Kagami had poked her head in the dining hall and found a few players reviewing their game against Inashiro. One of them was Miyuki.

"Huh?" The catcher turned towards the door. "What is it?"

"We're heading out now.. Coach is waiting at the front of the dorms." She answered.

Miyuki perked up and stood up from where he was sitting. "Okay.. Just give me a few seconds..." Kagami nodded her head and closed the door.

"Where ya heading to?" Kuramochi asked from beside Miyuki.

"Kagami and the coach are heading to the doctors to discuss Kagami's wrist. I wanted to tag along...." Miyuki said as he headed towards the exit. Kuramochi nodded as they waved to each other. "See ya later!"

"See ya!.."

"There's the train!"

Kagami, Kazuya, and the coach stepped foot in the train and quickly found an open space to sit. Matsu sat between her father and Miyuki and the train began to make its journey.

During one of the stops an elderly couple had entered the train. Kagami looked around her and noticed that all of the seats around that area were occupied.

"Ah.. excuse me!" The pitcher called. She gained the couple's attention. She stood up from her seat between the two males she had came with. "You can sit here.. I don't mind." She gestured to the seat where she was just seconds ago.

"You can take my spot too.." Miyuki offered, also getting up from his seat.

Both of the elders walked towards the battery with their arms locked with each other. The woman of the pair kindly smiled at them.

"Why, thank you very much, sweetie.." The older woman said. She sat down by Kataoka.

"Thank you as well young man.." The man said taking a seat beside his wife.

Kagami gave them a sweet smile and Miyuki did the same. He didn't give them his signature teasing smile, but a genuine one. Matsu looked over to her father who sat before the couple. He gave the high schoolers a ghost-like smile.

"There should be some seats at that end of the train.." Miyuki pointed out as he grabbed Matsu's wrist. "Let's go.. or do you want to stand the entire time?"

Matsu shook her head without hesitation. "No.. I'd rather sit..." She then pulled the catcher along to look for empty seats throughout the train.

The battery found seats at the end of the same train cart. They were still in the field of vision of the coach though.

"Are those your kids?" The elderly woman asked Kataoka.
