Tony instantly started crying silently. Salem’s heart broke, Vic felt like he was going to be sick. Jaime laughed “Good one, boss.. You had us worried for a second” His laugh got more and more desperate as the seconds passed.

“B-Boss? Who.. What?” Monami seemed so confused. “J-Jinxx!” Jaime yelled for their medic, they wanted an explanation and fast.

“She’s asleep, I sedated her for a while to help her calm down.. It seems she’s suffering from a basic case of Amnesia. It could last a few days, weeks, months… Sadly it could be permanentJinxx sighed before leaving the room. He cared for the young woman and hated seeing her this way.

She used to be a good kid and didn’t deserve all the hell she’d been through. Her parents would be proud of how she’s ran things though, just as cold and heartless as they forced her to be.

Course, after the amount of abuse and torture that poor girl went through, it’d make anyone cold and heartless. Jinxx only hoped that she could return to normal soon, memories and all. Even though, he wondered if this was some higher powers way of giving the girl a second chance..

“W-What do you mean you’re leaving?” Vic tried staying strong, even though he was dying inside.

“Look Mike… Or uh Vincent or whatever. You said that you were my ‘second in command’ or whatever, so I’m handing down it all to you. I don’t remember anything about who I was let alone how to run a gang. I am taking my chance to start over. You said it yourself that no one truly knows who ran the gang so I’m safe. I’m sorry. You guys seem like really great people but I want normalcy. Goodbye Vic” Monami kissed Vic’s cheek before taking the bag in her hand and walking out the door and into the waiting car.

“She finally called me Vic”

“Ha-Ha you're so funny” Kellin says sarcastically. I smile and stick my pierced tongue out at him. “Mature” He teases before getting up and clearing the plates from dinner.

“You had another one of your… Dreams last night” I stiffened at the mention. Kellin knew I hated talking about them.

“Look, Angel. I know you don't like talking about them but.. Maybe you need to”

I sighed and nodded, not trusting my own voice. Kellin sat down beside me and held my hands for support.

“It was just another flashback.. To when I uh… Got hurt. The man saved me again but I still don't know who he was” I explained, trying to keep from crying.

Kellin stood up, pulling me into his chest while I cried. It's been a year and I still can't remember who saved me. I still remember leaving that long haired guy behind but I don't remember his name and I don't know how to get a hold of him.

Kellin has work today so he had to go, now I was alone again. So I went in my room, laid down and tried to get some sleep. Hoping that my nightmares were afraid of the sunlight seeping through my slightly open curtains.

“Boss, Carlile from Ebony Knives is on the phone” I groaned and answered the phone, I knew what it was, the same as every week for the last year. “No I haven’t heard from M- Her” I answered before the question could be asked.

“I figured as much.. But I think I’ve finally found her” Austin’s voice sounded more upbeat and happy then I’d heard in months.

“You what?!” Apparently Austin’s secretly spent the last year looking for her.

“Anyways, I found an apartment being rented in downtown LA.. It’s under a different name but I think it could be her” I heard Austin’s words but I felt like it was a dream.

Then I came back to reality. “Austin, don’t contact her. Leave her alone. If she remembered us and or if she wanted to see us then she’d have came back or called by now. It’s been a year, it’s time to move on”

I’m such a hypocrite. None of us have moved on, how can I tell Austin he needs to? It doesn’t matter, he hung up on me anyways.

There was a knock at the door, I look up and smile. “Hey Mikey” I greet my brother, he just waves before coming in and sitting down. “How has your day been?” I ask, as if he’s gonna answer. He isn’t. He hasn’t spoken since Mo-- She left.

He as usual took out his little dry erase board and wrote his answer. “Not bad, Tony and I made a run, then we slept then we did some bagging then I ate and now I'm here”

I read it out loud, Mike nodding the whole time. I smile and say “That's great Mikey. Maybe we can go somewhere this weekend, get away from the crazy for a while” We never leave here, unless it's on a run. Our entire lives for the past 10 or so years has been spent in this underground empire or the house or the various clubs and businesses that is ran above it which we own.

Mikes eyes lit up, but not as they used to. “Really?” He hurriedly wrote down. I had to laugh at how he suddenly went from sad to excited. “Yes, really. Anywhere you wanna go. We'll make a day of it. Hell, we may even make two days of it”

I had to admit, the longer I talked the better leaving for a while sounded.

Now you know how she felt.

I waited until Mike ran off to tell the guys, before groaning at my inner conscience. It does that to me a lot.
