3. Personal Friend

“Personal friend? What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Jack asks, taking a sip of whiskey. Alex grunts and shakes his head, wiping the excess coke off his nose. Jaime chimes in with a “Why did she close the damn door when we left?”

Mike slams down a shot glass before saying “And if she's known this person for so long, why hasn't she told anyone about him?!”

“Do you think it's an affair?” Jack asks.

The other guys all snap at him “Of Course!!”

Alex shrugs and says “I dunno”

Jack puts his hands up in defence and says “Relax guys, it's not like any of you are engaged to her, for fucks sake”

Vic and Mike just walk away mumbling to themselves.

Later that evening, as Mike goes to leave his room for more booze when he sees Monami all dressed up and heading into her room, carrying luggage while whispering into her phone. Mike hurries to the other side of the hall to get Vic.

“What's going on?” Vic whispers as they stand outside their bosses door, trying to listen in.

“Oh my gosh, shut up” Monami says, before giggling.

Mike and Vic look at each other in total shock. “Did she just giggle?!” Mike whisper yells.

“I think so?” Vic seemed so confused.

“Well this should be fun..  We haven't done this in a while” Monami says with a smirk before grabbing her bags and walking towards the door.  “Okay, bye love you”

The Fuentes brothers run across the hall quickly and make it seem as if they're just having a casual conversation.

Monami walks out of her room, in an army green party dress that cuts down in a v shape under the neck and shows a lot of cleavage. She's also carrying an overnight back along with her purse.

The boys’ mouths fall open at the sight. Making Monami smirk. Tony walks in, talking. “Hey guys have you seen-” Until he spots Monami’s dress, his eyes almost bug out of his head.

Monami smiles seductively before going up to Vic and saying “I'll be gone a week, you're in charge. Keep the Carlile scum and don't let him see the Ginger.”

Then, she kisses each of the guys’ cheek before walking out. They all watch her walk as she goes…

“So how’s everything with the boys?” my lifelong friend asked sitting on the bench next to me.

“Well, dreadful if I'm being completely honest. My second in command is slowly getting on my nerves more and more. He's overstepping his bounds, getting too comfortable with his authority.”

“Sounds like you need to teach him a lesson. But no killing, that's my job” My friend says with a wink.

I laugh and pick up another shot and say “To us” We clink glasses before downing the liquid fire and the rest of the night was a blur.

I woke up the next morning in someone else's bed. “Well, damn” I say, when I see I still have my dress and makeup on. My poor skin.

“Wake up, we have a meeting” My friend says, I look at them questionably before they say “I have an..  Associate who has details on Black Cobra”

In literally 10 minutes I was showered, dressed and ready. We hurried and got to the secret location, we fought with the ‘security’ before I finally got pissed and said “Monami Cornelly. Leader of Crimson Wolves.” That got us in immediately.

We go into a room that smells like smoke and liquor. We see a man in his 30s, looking like he knows more than he ever says.

“Salem!” The man says, almost cheerfully. Salem nods once before saying “We want the dirt on Black Cobra” The man's face go stiff. “I heard Ebony has him. In an abandoned warehouse downtown” I grip the chair arm so tightly that my knuckles turn white. “And?!”

Salem tries to calm me down. The man says “I'm sorry.. But that's all I know”

I glare at the man before standing up and saying “Big mistake”

That's the last words I said before putting a bullet between the man's eyes. “Monami!” Salem yells before grabbing my hand and together we ran like hell. On the way out I popped the security. “Really?!” I shrug and say “I gotta keep my secret that I'm a girl” Salem laughs and says “This is why I love you” I smile and say “Ditto babe”
