After Frisk, Toriel, and Kat left, Carson and Anna took over my shift. I was getting really bored just sitting there.

After a little while, I decide to take a walk. Explore the area, maybe check out Grillby's, I don't know.

"Hey Michin?" I ask, peeping into the kitchen.

(Lmao that rhymes 😂)

"Ya Daisy?"

"Can I take a walk?"

"Sure, but take this." She says, tossing something black towards me.

I quickly grab it from the air, examining the object. It is... A walkie talkie?

Makes sense, sense I don't have a phone, but wow. That is cool. Maybe we should have code names?

I chuckle at my own childish thoughts.

"Thanks Michin!" I shout, heading for the door.

"Your welcome, have fun!"

I close the door to the cafe, trying to choose a direction to go in. I ultimately decide to go left, away from Grillby's.

I stare at the cracks in the sidewalk, occasionally trying not to step on one. Soon I find myself stepping off the sidewalk.

I look up in confusion, trying to figure out why the sidewalk would just end like that.

Before me lies a forest trail. The sidewalk is crumbling away, disappearing into the dirt that covers it. Like the woods grew, claiming part of the city.

I shrug, and decide to keep going. The trail is pretty wide, and the forest sounds always soothe me.

As I walk, I pull a pair of ear buds from my pocket. I don't have a phone, but I do have a cracked I-pod I found in the dump one year. The songs on it are pretty good.

I scroll through my playlist, choosing one of my favourites.

(I wanted the UT one, but since 'You' are a female, I went with the girl voice.)

As the song played, I join in, the melody flowing perfectly from my mouth. This song I knew how to sing.

I walked on, observing the scenery around me. Spring is fading to summer, and the sun is high in the sky. It's a beautiful day outside. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and on days like these, one should be enjoying the outdoors.

(Readers: You set that up, didn't you?
Me: what? *pft* Nooooo~ I definitely did not set that up. 😂)

Soon the trees beside me turn into towering flowers. Something large sits in front of me. I finish the song, and unplug my earbuds.

Before me is the most beautiful tree I had ever seen. The branches carry light pink flowers, some of them only just blossoming into bright red cherries.
