Tuesday, April 5

I wake up pretty slowly. One eyelid, then the other.

Immediantly I am blinded by bright lights. Adjusting slowly, it looks like I am in my room. Something is on my head, and my foot hurts a lot.

Raising an arm, I gently feel the bandages around my head. What happened?

Oh... Right. Miss RBF tripped me. I hope she got into a lot of trouble for that.

I feel my ankle, and realise it is in a wrap. I must have sprained it. A pair of crutches are leaned against the bed.

I sigh, and slowly sit up. A slight headache bounces around my skull, but it doesn't bother me too much.

I grab the crutches, and hoist myself up. Then I practice walking around the room with them for a minute.

"Oh your up! That's good!" Says Michin's voice.

I turn around, and see her smiling sadly at me. I smile back, the best I can manage with my headache.

"H-He... Hey Michin." I say, my voice a little scratchy at first. I exit my room, her right in front of me.

"Your fall left you with a minor concussion and a sprained ankle. You missed school today, but they said that's ok. And you should be back tomorrow, just with your crutches." Michin says softly, minding my headache.

"Thanks, but... How long will I need these?" I say, waving a crutch in the air.

"Only this week. You should be ok with small distances this Saturday."

I smile, happy with that diagnosis. I would despise being stuck in bed. I would be bored out of my mind.

"Oh, and your friends are coming to visit you soon. They'll be here any minute!" Michin says, raising her voice a little. I flinch, and she apologises.

"That's ok. But a visit sounds great right now! Just, tell them to be quiet." I say, winking. Michin laughs.

"No problem."

A soft bell is heard down stairs, as well as many voices I recognize. My friends are here!

They shuffle up the stairs, and faces light up when I come into view.

"Hey guys!" I say, pulling my best act of enthusiasm.

"sup"
"Hello darling!"
"H-Hey Work buddy!"
"What's up?"
"Hey... Daisy..."
"H-Hello!"
"Glad you're okay, punk."
"HELLO HUMAN!!!"

"SSSSHHHHHHH!" Everyone shouts at Papyrus. I whince at his loud voice, and he quickly quiets down.

"I'm so sorry human!" Papyrus whisper-shouts.

"That's ok Paps, it's just a little headache."

"kid, you face-planted into a desk... twice!" Sans says, chuckling.

"It was Miss RBF's fault." I think with a frown.

"Who?" Undyne asks.

Oh shoot. Did I say that out loud!?! Hehe... Whoops.

Michin is laughing her head off, and can't even scold me for using that phrase. Everyone else looks confused.

"W-What's RBF?" Alphys asks.

I laugh this time. Wow, they don't know what that means! In hind sight, it does make sense.

"Oh my gosh!" I start, calming down my laughter.

"Haha! Ok, RBF is an acronym. It stands for- *pfffttt!* Resting. Bitch. Face." I say between laughs.

It takes a second, but then the whole crew is laughing hysterically. It makes my headache a lot worse, but I ignore it for the sake of the moment.

Papyrus is confused, but he laughs along.

We all calm down eventually, and take a seat on our couch. Sans sits to my left, Alphys to my right, Anna on her other side, Carson sits over by Sans, and everyone else on another couch.

"Anybody interested in season one of Gravity Falls?" I ask.

(Yes, I did just include my new book fandom.)

Several "Sure"s echo around the room, so I fish it off my saved shows on our DvD player.

The first episode plays, and I hum along to the theme song. It is super catchy.

As the show continues playing, I find my head leaning towards Alphys.

(666 words right there 😈)

But, as my eyes close, I feel her clawed hand on my head. She gently pushes me over towards Sans.

Curse her! Meh... I'm too tired to... To argue...

And I fell asleep. On Sans.

Sorry it's short! I have to get ready for freshman welcome night at my high school. Just thought I should get this out.

And yes. I am starting a Gravity Falls Fanfiction. The first chapter will release either today or tomorrow, so check that out.

I just thought there aren't that many... Well... "Good" ones out there. I have seen a few pretty good ones though. My goal will be to make a really good one.

Of course, I will probably fail, but I am going to try anyway. The plot will be long, and it will be a slow burn between the reader and Dipper.

I am going back to second person, cause I'm just used to that now.

Anyway. Enjoy my book!

And remember! Reality is an illusion, the universe is a hologram, buy gold, BYE!
