--three days later...morning--
Shannon pov:
"Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high..." Cari sings to boon the pig. Meghan was asked to watch him for a while and lately we've been obsessed with him. Amy, Meghan, Jess, and I are sitting around Cari holding the sleeping pig. "Can you sing to me next?" Amy raises her hand making us all laugh. "So Cari, were having a little get together today and I was just wondering if you'd like to stay to you know meet people from LA?" I scratch my neck and look down at my fingers. "Why are you nervous? Of course I'd like to come. Where is it going to be?" She asks as she lift my chin up, making me look into her eyes. "At this apartment. Every party is here for some reason. Not complaining because I don't have to drive anywhere" I laugh nervously and the other three notice and laugh at me. "Wow Shannon, you really know how to talk to girls" Amy says and I stick my tongue out to her. "It's okay. You're cute when you're nervous" Cari kisses me on the cheek causing me to blush. "Awww she's blushing!" Meghan yells. "Pshh no I'm not" I cover my face in my hands. "Don't hide, babe" Cari says and moves my hands to kiss me on the lips. I pull away and look her deeply in the eyes. "You know I really really like you?" I ask and she nods. "You know I really really really like you?" She says back and cuddles into me. "You know I really really like you?" Amy mocks us and I see Cari flip her off. "Ughhh did miss pop sensation just flip me off?" Amy puts her hand on her chest. "Yeah and I will too" I flip her off and she looks at us in shock. "You guys are too cute, it makes me want to barf" the three of them leave the room with sleeping boon letting Cari and I to cuddle up on the couch. "So who's coming to this get together?" Cari asks as she lies on my chest. "Just some of our mutual friends. You know ally already, then there's Stevie, ally ex girlfriend but they're good friends, Danny who is probably the only straight person we know, Joanna, Miles, Carter, Aaron, Austin, and I think Alex is coming. But you know just a lot of our friends" I say and she nods. "You think they'll like me?" She asks nervously and I giggle a little. "I don't know because they obviously don't know who the Cari Fletcher is, you know the pop sensation and was once a contestant on the X-Factor. I'm sure they loved you before they met you" I chuckle and she laughs with me. "Okay. So are they all YouTubers like you?" She asks and I nod. "Yeah. We all cover a lot about the LGBT+ community and our experiences. But Ally and Danny are musicians so you'll get along with them easily" I say. "Can we go get something to eat? I'm starving" she says while rubbing her tummy. "Yeah. Are you going like that?" I ask because well she's famous but I don't want her getting trampled by fans. "Uh yeah. I'll just wear sun glasses and a hat or something" she says and I nod. "Where do you want to eat?" I ask before getting up from the couch. "Anywhere is fine. I don't know a lot of good places to eat here" she gets up with me and stretches her arms out. "Okay, IHOP it is" I smile and she nods in agreement.

We're driving to IHOP and the whole time I can feel a pair of eyes in me the whole time. "Yes Cari?" I turn my head away from the road for a second to see her just staring at me. "How can you be so perfect?" She asks me. "I don't know, why don't you ask yourself that?" I smile at her and I can see a tint of red covering her cheeks. "No I'm serious. Like how can someone be cute, hot, and beautiful at the same time? It's insane. Your blue eyes just illuminate when you smile, you have perfect cheekbones, and don't get me started with your jawline. Ughh you're too perfect" she says still staring at me. "Well tell me why you're perfect then. Like your eyes sparkle in the sun, I love when I see you smile because it shows your pearly white teeth, and your lips that's my favorite part of all, I could kiss them all day" I say as we pull over in IHOP parking lot. "Then why don't you?" She smirks and moves our faces closer. "Because once my lips are on yours, I just can't get enough of it. I don't think I could handle myself with that kind of privilege" I say and peck her perfect lips. "You're too sweet" she says and kisses me one more time. "Let's go eat" I say and hand her my hat. She puts it on and then her sun glasses so no one can recognize her (but seriously do famous people think they can wear a hat and sun glasses and think no one will recognize them?). We walk in with our fingers interlocked and I look over to the corner of the restaurant and make eye contact with someone I really don't want to see. Well that just killed my mood. I pull Cari to the furthest booth and sit down. "Hey what's up?" Cari asks because my immediately mood change. "Nothing. Let's just eat" I give her a fake smile and she just gives me a weird look but nods. "Hello ladies, what may I get you two started with?" The young waiter asks. "Uh I'll just get orange juice" I say and look over at Cari. "I'll get the same" she says and continues to look over the menu. "Are you two ready to order?" He asks. "Just give me a minute but shan you can order" Cari says and I order chocolate chip pancakes with bacon and sausages on the side. "And for you?" He asks Cari and she orders regular pancakes with just bacon. We hand him our menus and sit there silently. "So how's your day going?" I say breaking the awkwardness. She laughs and looks up at me. "I've been with you all day so I could say it's been going great" she smiles at me and I smile back at her. I put my hands on the table and rest them near hers. "So I really want to kiss you right now" I say and she raises one eyebrow. "Like how bad?" She asks and moves next to me. "Really bad" I say as she gets closer. Our faces get closer and I just keep my eyes on her lips. "Mhmmm you can wait" she says seductively in my ear causing me to get goosebumps all over. I grab her face and kiss her lips and she smiles as we continue to kiss. We heard someone cough in the background and we pull away. "I'm sor..." I look up to see the one and only Camden Scott. "Hey Shan" she says in her sweet voice. I look over to the right to see that Kara girl and sigh. "Hi Cammie" I say and Cari looks at me in shock. She interlocks our hands to make me stay calm and it did help. "So how you've been?" She asks me and I squeeze Cari hand a bit. "I'm good. You?" I ask and try to look at her but my heart just hurts a lot seeing her. "Same. So who's this?" She asks referring to Cari. "This is..." I stop thinking if I should tell her. I think Cari notice and introduces herself. "I'm Cari Fletcher" She takes off her hat and sun glasses and then pats my thigh to single it's okay. "Oh" is all she could say and looks back at me. "Well Shan I guess I will be seeing you later because Amy invited Kara and I over. It was nice meeting you Cari" she says and leaves. I look down at the table still stunned from what just happened. "Are you okay?" She holds my hand tighter. "Yeah. Just thought I'd never see her this soon. But I'm okay" I say and she nods. "Is that the one she cheated on you with?" She asks and I nod. I feel the pain spread through my body and tears form in my eyes. "Hey I'm here. Please don't cry" she kisses my cheek and then wipes away the tear that fell from my eye. "I don't know how I'm suppose to be in the same room with her" I say honestly and finally look at Cari. "We don't have to go. We can find something else to do" she suggests and I shake my head. "The only reason we're having a party is for you. So you can meet people in LA. We should go" I say and she gives me a unsure look. "Okay but I'm not leaving your side" she protests and I finally smile. "I didn't want you to anyways" I say and kiss her. "Don't worry. This party will be fun" she assures and kisses me one last time. The waiter comes with our food and I wonder, what took him so long that he couldn't just interrupt that awkward moment I had to go through. I'm glad Cari was here though. She saved my life.
