A/N: I'm going to apologize right now because knowing me the ending will be awful, sorry!

Thomas took a shaky breath as he and James walked along the shore of a lake, James was smiling brightly, leaning in close to Thomas. Thomas tried his best to smile, but he couldn't deny how nervous he was. This date was important, really important.

It had been a few years since the two had graduated college, happily living together in an apartment, both having well paying jobs. Neither one could seem to see themselves happy with anyone else, and Thomas had been planning this day for weeks.

"Jem, I have something to show you," Thomas said, giving James an uneasy grin as he pulled him towards the lighthouse. There was a small bridge leading to it, and James noted the flowers and candles lining the edge of it as Thomas pulled him along.

"What is this?" James asked curiously as Thomas stopped I front of the door, taking James' hands in his own.

"James, I love you with all of my heart. There is no one who could compare to you, and you will always be the love of my life," Thomas said, shooting James one last nervous smile before he set his hand on the doorknob of the lighthouse door, swinging it open carefully.

James felt tears flood his eyes, his hands covering his mouth. "Oh my god!"

Inside of the small space stood Aaron and Alexander, softly humming You Are My Sunshine, holding a sign that said "Will you marry me?" in big bold letters. Thomas turned to James, getting down on one knee, pulling out the small box he had safely kept in his pocket. He opened it, revealing a pretty expensive but simple looking ring. "Will you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, smiling.

James nodded through tears, throwing his arms around Thomas' neck. "Of course I-I will," he choked out, crying into Thomas' shoulder. Thomas grinned, wrapping his arms around James' waist.

"Thank god."

A/N: I'm having a panic attack, yay...
