Chapter 1: Meeting

[Hebe's house]

(Selina waits at the door impatiently for Hebe. Then she sees Hebe coming down the stairs and shakes her head.)

Selina: Please don't tell me you're still doing that?

Hebe: What's wrong with this?

Selina: Look at yourself. Do you not look in a mirror ever? And this is the last year of school. You could at least not dress like that?

Hebe: There's nothing wrong with this. I've been wearing it for the past 2 years of college and I'll continue. What's the point of changing now?

Selina: Can I at least hang out with you this year. It's been horrible pretending I hate you.

Hebe: (laughs) Okay.

Selina: I still wish you would change. (Hebe shakes her head) *Sigh* Let's go before I drag you up stairs to change.

(Hebe laughs and follows Selina to the car. Hebe, unlike Selina, is wearing an oversized shirt that makes her look kind of fat, and sweat pants. Her hair is tied up in a ponytail, and reaches her armpit and she's wearing glasses. Selina is wearing a pretty pink skirt with a white tank top and her hair is curled. Selina has makeup, a purse, and jewelry, while Hebe has a backpack. They both get in the car and drives off.)

[Calvin's house]

(Jiro is waiting for Calvin at the bottom of the stairs. Soon, Jiro sees Calvin walking down the stairs and sighs.)

Calvin: Hey, what's with the sigh?

Jiro: Now we're going to have problems. Do you have to dress like that?

Calvin: (reaches the bottom) What's wrong with how I dress? I look great.

Jiro: That's the problem. Now when we get to school, we'll be surrounded.

Calvin: You don't see me complaining about how you look.

Jiro: Let's go.

(Calvin is wearing a button down shirt that isn't tucked and black pants. Jiro is wearing a white t-shirt with a light blue vest and jeans. They get into a car and drives off.)

[Xiongda College]

(Selina parks the car in the parking lot. Just as Hebe is about to open her door, a car parks right next to Selina's car and she almost hit the car with the door. Hebe quickly closes the door. Calvin parks the car and gets out. He looks around him and then closes the door and moves to the front of the car. Hebe sees who the driver is and sighs. She then gets out of the car and goes over to Selina.)

Selina: Is my car ok?

Hebe: (smiles) Don't worry, I was quick enough to close it.

Selina: *Sighs* Thank god.

Hebe: Let's go.

(Hebe and Selina hook arms and walks towards the college. Jiro gets out of the car and sees them walking away. Jiro goes over to Calvin.)

Jiro: Is that Selina Ren?

Calvin: (looks around) Huh? Where?

(Jiro points to Selina and Hebe and Calvin looks at them. Calvin sees Hebe and turns to Jiro.)

Calvin: Why would she hang out with someone like that?

Jiro: I don't know, but didn't they come to school together?

Calvin: I guess.

Jiro: Are they friends?

Calvin: Who cares, let's go.
