CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

I couldn't get the thought of that earring out of my head so I checked the guest register of that day. Indeed, a girl visited their room. She was someone I didn't know, but she was another Idol for sure. I was very upset. I didn't know what to think of. Whom did she visit? Was it JB or was it Jackson who shared his room with him? I had a sleepless night before the whole picture was clear to me.

I had found Jackson that day who seemed very eager to have coffee with me. Jaebum had avoided me these two days and so have I. But this was killing me. Talking with Jackson I cleverly brought up the topic and asked him where he was that day.

"Haha, Y/N-ssi, you know how popular I am with girls. But there is no one I want to date. Hence I was out eating by myself like a sad fool."

"Oh you are so not a sad fool."

"Nah uh, I LOVE eating by myself. I get to eat everything on my plate. Otherwise...well you know the members."

"Haha yeah. So that means Jaebum Oppa was alone that night?"

"Oh yeah. Everyone went out but he said he needed to stay back for some work. We thought maybe you would visit. Weren't you there?"

"Uh no. I was at home getting drunk with Amy and Sophie."

His face turned stiff.

"So you're saying you didn't visit our room that night?"

"Yes Jackson I'm saying that because I really didn't."

"Oh...Okay." He looked down at his coffee, thinking hard about something.

"What's...wrong, Jackson?"

"Huh? Oh nothing. I must've misunderstood something. Don't worry Y/N-ssi, everything is fine."

To be honest, this reaction dreaded me more. I kept my calm somehow. So that Idol visited him during a time no one was around, and she left an earring on his bed. Not even on the couch. Directly the bed.

I couldn't concentrate on anything. I went up to the terrace to relax my head when Jackson called me up.

"Hey Y/N, can you come up to our room?"

"Sure, why?" My voice was shaking. Jackson was unusually serious.

"Just come here."

I went to their floor by stairs. Jackson and Jaebum were waiting for me. As soon as I entered, Jackson came up to me and took me inside.

"Y/N you deserve to know the truth!" I had never seen him so serious and angry. I was a little shocked, and my heart was beating like crazy. Jaebum stood in front of me, without a word.

"What truth are you talking about Jackson? Oppa what is he saying?" I asked Jaebum.

"I have to tell you something, Y/N."
