After Chan proposed to me, we spent that night in each others arms, lost in our own romantic paradise. The next day, as we returned to the actual world, all our friends shared the happiness with us. My Baes hugged me tight and they shrieked loudly seeing the engagement ring in my hand. I hugged them tighter and we shared another pool of happy tears for each other.
The guys congratulated us all and we spent the rest of the day half packing and half chilling by the pool. Even the members of GOT7 were with us; everyone, except Jaebum.
As everyone else was either talking or making out, and Chan seemed busy with Baekhyun Suho and Jongin, I was sitting by myself dipping my feet on the pool when Jackson joined me.

"Hey girl!"
"Hey Jackson! How are you?"
"Oh, I'm so good." He took a brief pause. "And I'm so happy that you made the right choice."
"Shouldn't you be mad at me?"
"And why should I be mad at you? At least you were brave enough to follow your heart as soon as you got your chance. Unlike me, of course."
"What are you talking about?"
"Oh, it's nothing. I hope you all have all the happiness in the world. You, and Amy... and Sophie." The way he took Sophie's name, I was sure.
"Jackson..."
"No, it's okay Y/N. All I want is to see her happy. And I guess Jiminie will keep her the happiest." He looked down to his hands and said something like a whisper, that he wished I didn't hear; but I heard. "I could've made you happiest too..."
I put my hands on his and he looked at me. I gave him a reassuring smile, and he matched mine.
"I hope you find your happiness, Jackson. I really do."
He just smiled. We remained silent for awhile. He was the one who broke the silence.
"Y/N, can I ask you for one favor?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Promise me, that Sophie will never know the feelings I had for her. Promise me, you'll not tell. I do not want to ruin her happiness by making her feel bad. Please Y/N..."
I took my time to think because this wasn't easy. But in the end, I decided that some things are best left unsaid.
"Okay Jackson. She won't know until you decide to tell her. But I think it'd be best if you move on. There's no point in hurting yourself."
"I've been trying Y/N. And I'll keep trying till I meet someone who knocks me off of my feet."
"And you'll find her soon. You have all my blessings!"
