As I entered through the terrace door, my heart stopped at the sight and my mouth fell open.
The scene that captivated my eyes was of a fairy tale. That same terrace that had so many memories, now stood transformed into a dreamland before my eyes, just waiting to engrave another milestone.
Music hit my ears and instantly melted my soul from within. The wind was in perfect sync with the softness of the tunes, which handcrafted the romantic atmosphere all around. A concave appeared out of nowhere on the corner of my lips as my mind started registering everything around me.
Instead of the plain blue sky that used to hug me every night, I looked up to see stars; as many as the strings of fairy-lights could hold up. It seemed as though the sky was very lovingly festooned with glitters. And the moon in the distant, smiled at us and shone brighter than ever.

As I took a shaky step ahead, my feet touched something soft and I looked to the floor. Petals, and more petals made their way with little candles beside them.

My eyes followed the path garlanded with red & white petals and fixed on the figure standing at the end of it. With a crimson smile, he looked at me and my heart started skipping beats.

Because of all the bizarre things around me, I was still unable to grasp the situation. But I kept walking where the petals led me, eyes locked to the destination. It was as if he was pulling me in like the opposite pole of a magnet. I was being pulled there. The motion in my eyes halted as I stood right in front of him. He took my hands and kissed them each. With a thumping heart, I barely let my voice out.
