5 - Discovery

"Right, don't let them see this," Erika announced, pointing to the hundreds of comments on their vlogs, Chessa being the main topic of all of them.

A few weeks had passed since the coffee dat- outing, and more and more 'Chessa' moments have started to happen, or so it seems to the fans.

Erika knows how Tessa feels about this shipping thing. She ends up feeling under pressure and starts to avoid her guy friends in the vlogs.

Off camera she acts just the same as she did before the shipping, because she knows that she doesn't feel like that about any of them.

Somehow, Erika knows that if they found out about Chessa, it would be different. It would put a strain on Chance and Tessa's friendship on and off camera.

She's Tessa's best friend. She knows that this is more than just a friendship, even if they don't. Erika has been a part of Team 10 since even before Tessa even got there. She knows exactly how Tessa's acted with the other guys.

She acts different with Chance.

It's not a secret to anyone in the house, apart from, well obviously, Chance and Tessa.

This is why 'Chessa' needs to be hidden. It would be too much pressure on both of them.

No one wants that kind of tension in the house.

"How?" asked Jake.

"I don't know, but try to in any way that you guys can. Don't mention 'Chessa' around them, please. It will just hurt them," she sighed, "Anyway, they'll be back from the gym any second now, don't act suspicious," she instructed before walking out of the office, going to carry on with her day as usual.

"This is why Erika is the mom," Jake stated with a shrug before following her out.

Everyone else disbanded. A few stayed in the office, the rest went on with their day as per usual. Jake turned on his vlog camera, Nick went back to work at his desk, the Martinez twins went back to their games console, and everything was normal.

They just hoped it stayed that way.

"I bet I can fit more marshmallows in my mouth than you can!" Tessa yelled, grabbing the bag and slamming it on the table.

"Calm down," he laughed, shaking his head, "but for the record, I would win,"

"No way!"

"Yes way!"

"I don't believe you!"

And they ended up arguing like this for the next five minutes before Anthony interrupted them.

"Taytum and Oakley just got here," he told them before walking away.

"Aw, I love kids," she smiled.

"Yeah, I know," Chance laughed in return.

"Oh shut up," she shoved him playfully, "let's go see them," she said, grabbing his arm.

He didn't fight back because he knew it would make her happy if he didn't complain.

Besides, babies might be starting to grow on him.

Just don't tell Tessa.

"Aww, look at you!" she cooed, picking up one of the twins.

She took her phone out of her back pocket, unlocked it and handed it to Anthony.

"Could you take a photo for my instagram story?"

"Yeah, sure, do you want me to save it?"

"Yeah, thanks,"

She smiled at the camera and the baby - Oakley - seemed to mimic her and smiled, too.

It really was a cute photo.

As instructed, Anthony saved and posted it on her story.

Before he could give the phone back, though, Tessa walked away, distracted.

His finger slipped and he soon saw that her whole feed was 'Chessa'.

Scrolling and scrolling and scrolling, still all Chessa.

Not much could be done, but he blocked the word 'Chessa' from her comments.

He knew it was wrong to tamper with her settings, but nobody noticed, and it wouldn't hurt her.

He eventually found Tessa (+ Oakley) with Chance and gave her the phone.

He later slipped away to Erika's room to tell her about the instagram dilemma, hoping she knew what to do.
