The Fall Of Us (Cancelled Series But It's Out There Now)

We're in the living room of this man's house, smells way too much like weed. He even smoking a blunt right now while he's talking. Even Nick and Olivia got involved too. I honestly don't care, I'm all for it, but it's distracting and we're trying to have a serious discussion.

His name is Dan.

"So. . . You know me?" I ask.

"Oh of course," Dan replies. "Yeah Rogers here crash landed here and told me everything. I just believed him because a fricking pod fell out of the sky. I was just outside smoking when it fell. Anyways, yeah I do."

"So you know what we're up against right?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, I know."

"THEN STOP SMOKING WEED, WE'RE HAVING A SERIOUS DISCUSSION!" I shout.

Dan puts the blunt down quickly and Olivia and Nick do the same. They probably don't underestimate my power.

"Okay, now. How are we going to defeat them? And where's Xanthus?" I ask.

Rogers replies. "Well first we need to know where exactly one of their bases are. Luckily, there's one near Portland. Which is why I chose here to rest. But first you need to train, Rose."

I nod and ask Rogers how exactly. He replies with a ball that he'll teach telekinesis with. We head outside and he throws the ball so I can try to catch it.

"Catch!" He shouts.

Hey throws the ball and I try to focus on it but it lands directly at my face. I fall down and laugh, Rogers laughs with me. He's been pretty nice to me. Like a father I never had. We continue until I finally catch the ball.

"Congratulations Rose!" He yells with enthusiasm.

I hear someone coming out the door and see Mariah looking at me with a smirk. She sits down at the steps in front of the door.

"Yeah, congratulations!" She says.

I start to blush and then look at Rogers. We continue to catch the ball while Mariah watches. After a lot of successful attempts, we learn throwing.

"Just think you're throwing it with an imaginary hand!" He says.

I nod and try that. It doesn't work for most of the times I try. Then, Mariah comes up from behind me and kisses my cheeks.

"I know you can do this, Rose. Believe." She whispers.

I look back at the ball and concentrate on it. Then, the ball starts floating and I take that time to throw it. It's successful and Rogers catches it.

"Great job Rose!" Both Rogers and Mariah say.

We continue to practice for several hours until night falls. Dan assigns a room for Me, Mariah, Nick, and Olivia and Rogers, as well as James gets their own room. It's a pretty spacious area. There's two queen beds on top these stairs that lead to a little balcony, there's a flat-screen TV, a Super Nintendo Entertainment System hooked up with A Link To The Past and Super Mario World next to it, a dresser for clothes, and a desk with a desk light. Me and Mariah take one of the beds and Nick and Olivia take their own. It's late at night, everyone is sleeping so I practice my telekinesis by levitating one of the SNES cartridges in the air. Mariah interrupts my practice to whisper to me.

"What's going to happen when we win?" She asks.

I never thought about that. Before all this happened, I thought I was going to become an animator and live in my own house with no pants on. Now all of this happened. I never really had a chance to really think of that.

I answer truthfully. "I don't know. I never thought about that. Probably being with you."

I can tell she's blushing and she gets on top of me to cuddle. I hug her and she hugs me back. She puts her head on my shoulder and I pet her head. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps. She's too special and important to me.

I don't want to lose her.
