"Well, I gotta go~" Yoona grinned. "It was really fun talking to you, Yeonji!"

"Yeah," She smiled back. "I hope we do this again some time. Maybe in a better place over some food."

"I'm so glad, I want to talk to you again too! See you around."

"See ya."

As Yoona slowly disappeared from her sight, she began to walk home as well.

As she walked alone, she couldn't help but recall what happened on Monday, as she was walking home by herself.

-----

Passing by the large truck near her home, she hears two people behind it.

"Break up with her." The first voice was a female's. It was low, almost like a growl.

"We're not together." The second one was a male's. He seemed confused.

She gets the feeling that she's not supposed to hear this.

"Then break her heart."

"I can't do that."

"Do it or she dies."

Yeonji gets that same feeling of dread again. She subconsciously takes a step back, immediately hearing a small crack!

She had stepped on a twig. She heard footsteps coming towards her, and see a girl with red hair and gray contacts come from behind the truck.

Taking a deep breath, Yeonji makes a run for it.

-----

"Welcome home!" Taehyung greeted his little sister as she dropped herself on the couch. "Whats up, Ji?"

"I'm just tired. I met Bin's ex-girlfriend today."

"Oh? How was she?"

"She was genuinely a nice person. Apparently, the relationship just didn't go well, so they just separated. In good terms, of course."

"Oh...." He nodded, before taking a seat next to her. "Now that you're home, we need to talk."

She stayed quiet, and Taehyung took it as a sign to continue.

"Are you and Moon Bin....you know.... together?"

"Yeah." Yeonji responded, scared of what he would do.

To her surprise, he grinned.

"You mean, you're really in love with him? That's for sure?"

"Yes, oppa."

He stood up and raised his fist in the air.

"Kim Yeonji's finally in love with someone! Yes!"

"Shut up, oppa. The only one in love here is you."

"Me? In love? You're the one with a boyfriend!" Taehyung scoffed. "Who would I be in love with, anyways?"

"You know, Mibyeol eonnie."

Taehyung grew silent.

"Oppa?"

"......."

"Oppa?" Yeonji asked again, waving her hand in front of his face. Taehyung turned his head towards her, a small smile on his face. A fake one, if I do say so.

"Yeah?"

"Something happened between you and eonnie?"

Sighing softly, he knew he couldn't lie to his own sister. She knew him all too well.

"I don't really know how to explain it," He trailed off. Instead, he took out his phone and showed her a conversation. Their conversation.

"Oppa, you messed up." Was the only thing she could say. Taehyung crossed his arms.

"I had to! If I didn't do it, she would've died!"

Yeonji's eyes widened. She's heard those exact words before.....

"Hey, were you...."

"What?"

Shaking her thoughts away, she gave him a small smile. There was no way that was him.

I mean, what kind of person would even threaten him to do such thing?

"Nothing, nothing. Anyways, you should make it up to her! She likes Grandma's tyeokbokki, right?"

"I can't do that...." He mumbled.

"What? What do you mean?"

"I can't do that. I can't contact her anymore."

Confusion was evident on her face as she took her own phone and contacted Mibyeol herself.

"The number you have dialed is no longer in service."

"What?" It came out as a whisper. She tried again, making sure that she wasn't calling anyone else by mistake.

"The number you have dialed is no longer in service."

"Maybe she just turned off her phone, or maybe she had to charge!" She said. She tried to call her number again.

"The number you have dialed is no longer in service."

"Oppa--"She looked up at him to see that he wasn't looking back at her. His eyes wandered around the room before standing up.

"Don't worry about it. I still have stuff to do." She was told, as the male went to his room.

The pain in his voice, she was able to tell just from that, that it was not nothing to worry about.

She found herself thinking back to the day she overheard that girl threatening a guy. She didn't care at first, but now...

No. No, think positive, Yeonji. Nothing bad is going to happen. That wasn't my brother. That wasn't Kim Taehyung I heard.

But little did she know, that night was going to be the start of where it all went wrong.
