*This is now in Stellan/Christopher's POV*
Adele smiled at me. She bandaged up my arm after putting a strong iratze on shoulders. Jace's touch... it was horrible. Excruciating. I could still remember his eyes, blazing heavenly fire as he yelled at me, wanting to know about my ring. Father? I murmured down our bond. Yes Stellan? My father's calm voice soothed my mind. Do you know anything about a Jace Herondale? I asked. I could feel my father's surprise echo throughout the bond, before he seemed to have composed himself. Yes, I do happen to know him. I had the...fortune to face him in combat. Why are you asking, Son? I forgot momentarily about Jace burning me. He faced you in combat? Why is he not dead? I couldn't help but ask. I died. My father stated quietly down the bond. My surprise shot down the bond. I could feel him sigh . I could have killed him, but that Lightwood bitch distracted me by cutting off my arm. As I was punishing her, Jace got me by surprise. I was later resurrected by Lilith, and now I am stronger than ever so it doesn't matter. The memory of Jace burning me flashed in my memory painfully. Would Jace do that to me if he found out who I am? I could feel my father's shock. What was that? I could hear him demand. What are you talking about? After I asked that I felt a terrible pain in my head. My father's annoyance was showing. Did he hurt you? My father's voice thundered down the bond.
Yes. He burned me by his touch. I admitted. I could feel my father's rage through the bond. Do you know why he hurt you? My father demanded. He wanted to know about my ring. My father's rage seemed to have transformed into cruel calculation. It seems that he suspects that you are somehow affiliated with me of some sort. You will not be staying at the institute for too long. I know someone who you can stay with. I have already contacted someone who can help you , and take you safely to the location. My father's lofty voice comforted me. He whispered his plans and reassurances down the bond, making me feel warm and comforted, as I fell asleep. Adele woke me up gently. She gave me a warm look before telling me, "Jocelyn wants to speak with you." I got changed and was lead to the library, where my grandmother stood. My father told me that if I were to ever meet Jocelyn, I should never trust her. My mother wasn't very happy when he said that.
"Hello Christopher." Jocelyn greeted me coolly. "Hello Mrs. Morgenstern." I walked towards her. She visibly flinched. "That is not my name anymore." I raised an eyebrow at her. "But you were married to a Morgenstern, so that makes you a Morgenstern by marriage." Jocleyn just glared at me. "Christopher, are you a spy?" I actually did not fake the shock that was displayed on my face. "Why would you say that? I am a child-" Jocelyn interrupted me. " You act, talk, walk like someone who is much older than a child. I looked for any runes that may be hiding you true appearance, but I have not found any. I know that is a Morgenstern ring that is on your finger. Are you working for my son?" She demanded. "You never really liked skating around a subject, have you?" My father drawled behind me. Jocelyn's face turned as pale as a sheet. She turned towards me. "You are working for him. " She muttered. " He is not working for me, he is my son. He is working with me." My father smirked. Jocelyn's eyes widened. "He is too old to be your son, Jonathan." She told him coldly. "He was...adopted by us. But Clarissa outdid herself with the blood magic that made him... truly ours." Jocelyn looked horrified. Father continued. "It truly is disgusting Mother, that you would not recognize your own grandson. He looks just like dear old dad too." Jocelyn's color returned to her face, slowly. "He can't be completely evil. He is part of Clary..." She mumbled. My father looked contemplative. "I suppose so. He has the capability to be more like his mother, but I doubt so. His mother is too busy wailing or throwing tantrums in Edom for her to really leave a stunning impression on her son."
"Clary is alive?" Jace Herondale appeared in the library. He already had a seraph blade in his hand, looking at my father as if he was the most despicable being on this planet. "Of course she is. I would never kill my own sister." Jace scoffed. "Where is she?" He demanded. My father blinked. "In Edom, where she always has been, and where she will always be. " Jace growled, launching himself at my father. I instinctively blocked Jace's attack before he reached my father. Jace looked at me, surprised. Then, down at my sword. "That's Clary's sword." Jace growled. I blinked at him. "My mother doesn't need it, so It was given to me." I slowly told him. Jace's eyes widened. "What did you do to her?" He launched himself at my father. I just blocked his attempts. "My mother did not give birth to me, if that is what you are concerned about. I was found by my father, and he took me to Mother. I am their son by flesh and blood, thanks to the blood magic that my mother had performed on me." It took a while for what I had said to process in Jace's brain. He again tried to attack Father. Jocelyn looked at me desperately. "Christopher-" She was quickly interrupted. "His name is Stellan." A cold voice declared in the doorway. It was Adele Mane. My father looked faintly surprised by her appearance, but smiled. Adele gave me a warm look. "Adele?" I asked. She looked at my father. "You didn't tell him?" He just shook his head. Adele smiled. "I am Solis. I am your protector and guide. I may not look like it, but I am your twin sister."
