Oh my Jesus. This took too long, I know. I apologize.

This chapter may be a little sad. I just wanted to say that these next two chapters Reon is an important character ;)-------------/----///-----/--
The rain outside hadn't stopped even slightly as Tendou burst out the doors. He made it down the steps quickly; the throbbing pain throughout his body now replaced with an empty feeling in his chest.
He ran, trying to place as much distance between him and them as possible. He kept running, with no destination in mind.
He skidded to a stop in front of a university building he didn't recognize. Placing his hands on his knees, he took a ragged breath in. And exhaled. Then another.
He slumped against the brick wall and slid down. His clothes, sticking to his skin, weighing him down – drowning him.
He ripped off the sweater with his shaking hands and threw it in the rocks beside him. Tendou brought his hands up and ran them shakily through my hair.
His breathing was erratic and huffing a heavy exhale. His eyes started to sting as hot tears made their way down his cheeks. He curled into himself even further; barricading himself from the world.
Sobs racked through his body harshly as he dug the heels of his hands into his eyes.
Stop crying – it's not worth it anymore. He's not worth your tears.
That still doesn't stop a loud heart wrenching sob to escape his throat. He leant his head back on the wall and closed his eyes.
He let the icy rain pellet against his face; washing away the tears still flowing from his eyes. Small sobs kept resonating through his chest as he slumped more into the wall.
The rain drowned out most of the sound around him. The only thing he heard was the loud patter of raindrops.
Suddenly, he heard the crunching of rocks drawing nearer.
"-atori! Satori!" He made out a voice through the thick of the rain.
Picking himself up of the ground with shaky limbs, he faced the noise and spotted a figure sprinting towards him.
Soon, he was wrapped up in warm, strong arms. They let go and grabbed at him frantically.
"Oh my – Satori, I was so – I couldn't – I didn't – it wasn't –"
Cupping his face tenderly, he noticed the cut and bruise that had formed on his cheekbone. "Satori, what happened? Did someone do this to you? I swear to God –"
Tendou cut him off by pushing him away harshly. He glared venomously into his dark olive eyes.
Ushijima looked at him, a flurry of emotions passing through his eyes.
"Satori... I –"
"Stop," he interrupted, "I don't want to hear it." His voice wavered unwillingly.
"Please just let me –" He started.
"No! I said, no." His voice cracked at the end of his sentence. Showing him how hurt he was.
He placed a hand on his shoulder in order to comfort him. Yet, it does the exact opposite. Tendou flinched away from the touch.
"Don't touch me."
His hand hovered in mid-air for a few moments, then, dropped limply to his side.
They stood in silence for a few long moments.
