Just Keep Spinning

"Isla. Isla, stop. Please, come back." Jason says as Isla gets out of the car at the Parker house. "Jason, let her." Sam says while he and Alexa are still in the car. Unwillingly, Jason does. Isla gets in her car and drives home. "Hey, where have you been all day? I've been calling and texting." Addison asks as Isla walks through the door. "Not now, Addison." Isla says as she walks up the stairs, up to her room. I grab my phone, which had apparently been blown up by texts from Addison, Caroline, and Ivy. Most of them consisted of a "Where are you?" and an "I'm starting to worry." Then I get one from Jason. "Please, let me talk to you." It says.  At this point, I don't even know how to respond to that, so I don't. It all makes sense now, but it doesn't. Then, I remember what Ivy had said before, "I'm a witch." I thought about texting her, asking for her to come over. But then, what would I say to her? Tell her about Jason, Sam & Alexa being vampires. Alexa. First, she never said anything about having not just one brother, but two! And then, she is apparently a vampire! And then I thought about mom. Where DID she go? And then I thought about dad, and what he would do. My dad was killed in a plane crash. We didn't even have his body for the funeral. I try not to think about him too much. But anyways, I have to keep my head up. Although, it's hard to think when Sierra is playing "Believer" by Imagine Dragons very loudly across the hall. So, I go tell her, or more like yell at her, because it is so loud, to turn it down. Just then, I get a phone call from an unknown number. "Hello?" I answer. "What happened?" Addison asks the police officer as we arrive at the police station. After a couple hours at the police station, we had been informed that mom was in a car crash, she died instantly. Sierra and I were orphans. Addison is moving into our house. She is now or legal guardian. But then, Jason shows up at the police station. "Why are you here?" I ask. "I called him." Addison responds. "Isla-" he says. "No, get away from me!" I say. "Isla, please!" He says. "Okay...Maybe this was a bad idea." Addison says. After a few minutes, Jason leaves. Within the next 2 days, Addison's stuff is in our house. She is officially moved in now. The following week we have mom's funeral. Addison says she was embalmed, that's why she looks like wax. Even though I didn't want them to, Jason & Sam were there. Caroline, Sierra, Ivy, and Addison all sat down in the first row with us. Along with our other Aunt, Olivia. Our Uncle Matt, Cousin Autumn, and my moms good friends. Carver and Wilson came, too. Along with Ethan White and Gavin Tucker. Some of Sierra's friends came too. I don't know any of their names, though. Only her best friend, Lindsay. The service was really nice. Dad would have loved it. After that, nothing was really the same. It's like the Earth had gone and left me. Everything was just spininng. Everyone was just carrying on, living their daily lives, the Earth had just kept spinning.
